Wait if Eddie does the bellyflop Uber trick can he reach the snowflake
@@Mylittleponyplushies it’s a great question my knee jerk reaction is it probably won’t help due to the fact that Eddie has a relatively low jump height which probably hampers more than the worm trick helps! I’ll pass this along to kelecat who is the real expert in these matters
whats the music for the secret shortcuts? im looking around but i cant find it.
@@endeyfire honestly I don’t know! I think it may not even be a full track but just a little musical interlude they made for the game!
this is the best video ive found before going to sleep
Thanks so much for posting this. Proud to say I knew MOST of these shortcuts, but still several new ones! Amazing to see that all these years later, this game still has a community.
Nothing in this game is a bug. It's a feature, and that too well hidden😂😂
Really cool video.
awesome video i love tricky its always been in rotation for me. never seen this side of it!
man i played this game when i was a little kid this is so cool to see
You are a legend for this video. I thought I knew everything about this game but you proved me wrong right from Garibaldi lol
6:50 anyone know music ?
Dude i've been wanting to see the man in ice on Alaska for so many years!!! Thanks for showing it in glorious HD
you took so long to explain just stick to short explanation
awesome ssx tricky video. miss this game
32:30 try finding these in the first SSX… specifically in race mode
A true man of culture.
What console u playing this on ?
Gamecube :3 but you can play it on many different options ^_^
Mate, ssx tricky, 3 and 2012 have been my entire life and I didn’t know about 90% of these things. Absolutely insane, it made me so unbelievably happy to watch this
Glad to hear it! Hopefully once I get some more time / become un injured Ill get more SSX content out there!
Amazing work man
Thank you so much!
I always thought the highest jumps were just not even jumping when you were going super fast
Such a random niche thing that I really wanted to see lol. I want to see every single SHORTCUT! So many that I’ve never really been able to do!
Yep, took my PS2 out and replaying this gem with a more analytic approach (as a kid I wasn’t aware of certain shortcuts and quirks). This video is gold. Thank you!!
🦅👀
This upload caught me completley offguard but damn this sounds really good! Love the vibes in this one, right up my alley
Thanks! Full album coming out later this year, several music videos too including one for this song! Keep an eye and an ear out!
Very nice run!
Man, there are a LOT of shortcuts I never knew about In this game 🤯 and SSX tricky introduced me to video games!!!
Congrats 🎉
This video is awesome. It's been years since I've played, but I was absolutely obsessed at one point in time. I honestly felt like I stumbled across all the secrets this game had to offer, and got millions of points on various levels etc, but this video opened my eyes, and now I want to go back and play it again 😂😅
This game is a classic
My brothers and I could never reach the UFO!!! That was cool to finally see. What a great game.
I like to see a new ssx game
same :D one day ill think we'll get one!
Today I learned that I had the PAL version of the game, as I had Marty instead of Mac.
i love ur vids bro also that foam makes me wanna eat if for some reason
Dam and I thought I was the best player alive at this game
SSX Tricky is also my favorite game of all time.
I grew up with this game and have played it on and off since I was a kid, and there's a LOT of things I never even knew about. Already with the first ice cave on Garibaldi, I was completely shocked I never knew about it. Fantastic video
Thanks im working on all shortcuts and i hope that helps people in the same way! but that is a beast im esitmating the video will be 3-4 hours long~
@@twelvetides1037 Woah. I'll make sure to invest in some popcorn then!
I knew about the wormhole in Elysium Alps for quite awhile, and I'm certain every character in World Circuit has used it, lol. I didn't know about the hidden multipliers under the start of that level. Now, in Tokyo Megaplex, you mentioned another way of finishing the race quickly, but it would be too difficult to pull off in a timely manner. Would that involve jumping onto the area outside of the top of the wind tunnel? I have no clue when I found out you could do so, but if you jump from the platform that the tunnel spits you out at and perform a Hand in Hand at a precise moment upon hitting the void plane, you'll bypass it and fall all the way back down to the finish, ending the race. I believe I've done this twice, and only on PS2. If it's been discovered already, please tell me who. I've never been able to find any info about it online, so for years I've figured I was the one who found it.
I've not heard of this if you can record it I'd love to see it though!! I was refering to this strat ua-cam.com/video/tB5rc-_rGFg/v-deo.htmlsi=-XU-SPD_YlrXvR2r
@@twelvetides1037 I've seen that strat before, but could never pull it off. I do still have the actual recording from when I pulled it off 10 years ago. I don't want to make you sit through a montage of failed attempts, and Vegas wouldn't display the video track, so I recorded the section from VLC Media Player. ua-cam.com/video/tHSYMgncSLY/v-deo.html
@@twelvetides1037 My response must not have gone through since I added a youtube link to my recording of it. But last week I did some testing of it on PCSX2 using save states for ease with setup as the easiest way is to grind a rail back to the top. From what I gathered, it must be a something to do with a specific frame of the Hand in Hand animation, as it can be performed with any character that knows that trick, and at any elevation above that surface. No clue if it works with any other trick. Works on emulator and on physical hardware. Can't be entirely random or one-off because like I said, any character with that trick can do it.
@@Shady_Inktail Thats super cool I just watched the video on your channel it's extremely interesting! It needs more study :O !!
@@Shady_Inktail I tried your strat on tokyo and it totally works! There's testing to be done now ^_^ Others in the ssx community are looking at it too atm lets see how wide we can crack this egg! Excellent find! clips.twitch.tv/TardyKawaiiTortoiseSMOrc-ujNzeQ5Q9KfPU4yy
Thank you for putting all this together! I learned a lot, neat stuff
This just broke my brain. Cheers, man!
the quality of graphics on the game screen is bad and doesn't improve with raising the pixel count this end, why? spoils the vid pretty much completely.
I only have my old capture card for my gamecube to record!
@@twelvetides1037 ok no worries
this algorithm is crazy lol
nice
Wtf, after more than 20 years i still discover stuff i've never seen before in this game! Amazing video!
this is awesome good for you being passionate about a game and playing it for years, im the same way with gears of war 1
Mans on a MISSION <3
Another thing in tokyo megaplex, I remember one time my character fell from a really high place and was able to break the barrier glass in the right part of the track. I dont know if its a specific glass, when the glass breaks your character refuses to fall of the cliff. I was playing with moby
There are definitely instances of clipping through the glass, I'd be curious if one of the pains did break!
huh i would've thought there are ubers that move your hitbox high enough for that alaska 5x
This has actually been tested and no one's hit box can move sufficiently high enough on their own!
Thank you and thanks kelecat! So much I didn't know! Quality content!
wow so glad i stumbled across this video
Super interesting video!
