life as a uw nursing student and getting my covid vaccine! thanks for watching :)
i will say im so glad so many of us nursing students start with community college!! <33
thank you for this, i especially needed to hear the part where u said u wish u just enjoyed college more. im in my second year of community college and i crammed all my core science courses for this semester but i still dont think im gonna make the deadline/qualfications to transfer to nursing school by next fall, because i dont have cna/work experience or a teas exam score. ill probably have to take a gap year/semester to work and i was feeling really bummed about not graduating with my friends from high school. but i definitely need a break to work and enjoy myself. i dont have time to do anything right now and it's still not enough ah
You got this!!
My journey is almost identical to yours! I went into college wanting to do Architecture I took a semester off because it was too expensive I found out I really wanted to work in healthcare so I ended up transferring to a community college out of state. Now im completing my pre-reqs for nursing school hoping to get into a BSN program! Thinking about going to PA school after I graduate.
Good luck on your nursing journey!
@@GeensK thank you so much! You too! :)
Me at 30 rn. It took me 10 years to graduate a 2 year college because of how indecisive I am. I have 4 degrees in sociology, transferred to a 4 year college, and was like nope I don’t want this. Currently going back to the 2 year college for their nursing program lol😅. Also two kids later
Enjoy the journey!!! I will be 26 years old this year and just started my second attempt for nursing school. Everybody’s journey is going to be different.
Good luck!! 🍀
right now, i think im heading into community college itll be as a stepping stone to later get into nursing school :))
Good luck!!
Hi! I made it into UW's ABSN program for spring 2024. I was wondering what your life has been like post nursing school. Do you have any tips as a starting nurse in the field (salary, further education, etc)?
Hi Gina, I love your videos, especially your nursing vlogs. I’m planning to apply for UW nursing program as a transfer student. I have 3 years gap (since Aug 2020). I was a sophomore in the Nursing program at in Wisconsin. Things changed, my circumstances changed so I didn’t finish the program there. I had to move to California for 2 years and then I moved to Washington for 1 year now. Now I decided to go back to school again. I’m nervous and worried. To be honest, I didn’t know where to start with, so I came across your videos. Your videos are very simple, entertaining, cute and calming in a way. I hope you can make more videos in the future when you have time. Rosie (from an Army to another Army 💜🦋)
Hope you didn’t applied to UW. It became a nightmare with horrible management. Advisors quit left and right, clinic rotation with bare minimum hands on chance, and many more.
@@bambihunter2833 oh really? That’s so sad to hear. I actually decided to go to Umich in Ann Abor because my fiancé is from Michigan. Are you currently a student at UW then?
@@rosiecloset yea and U Michigan is ranked higher than UW. Not just BSN but Overall school reputation UMichigan has way more merit.
@@bambihunter2833 oh really? I didn’t know. I thought both are equally excellent. Which year are you in?
I purple you 💜
BTS Army here 😂❤ I loveee your videos. I’m watching a bunch of your videos now. See you on your most recent video comment. 😂
Can u please inform what are the major inquirments to get into the Washington nursing college for international students 😊 please dear❤
Hey, I am a bio-science student and I'm at my senior year of highschool do I need to do the prerequisites too to apply for BSN in us? I'm just a little confused as I'm from India and the system here is abit different.
Hi 👋 are nursing schools expensive?
Hello!! I have watched your videos while in nursing school and they were very motivating. I have now graduated finally! Will you continue vlogging soon?I miss them 😢

Are you from china?
It's soo nice seeing you enjoy university with your friends. Missing college life so much and your videos bring back alot of memories. ✨
Tag your instagram please😊😇🥰
Hi sister I am from India
You are cutest
Been wanting to do nursing straight after high school but got rejected by the schools that accept freshman straight into nursing which left me with pre nursing at a state school or two UCs without nursing. Decided to go to community and hopefully transfer to a nursing program
How’s it going im thinking of going to cc for my ADN then transfer to a program that lets me get my BSN for the last few years
hello incoming nursing student this year!! can I ask is it ok to transfer to other school (pretend im in third year) because i hate this school and got no choice .. please can you give me an advice thank you!!
hey how r u? im facing this now
I want to become a nurse soon too. If I have a chance, I would like to work in another country.
Hi!Nursing student here💖May I know what camera do you use for vlogging?
I just used my iphone camera! Iphone xs
I love this video!
Thank you so much for your video! I already have a bachelor's degree in economics from Japan. I went there because I thought it would be fun to live in Tokyo and that the school was prestigious over there. Now I am back in Washington and lost and decided to pursue nursing. I might be able to transfer some credits from japan to community college. Would you say starting an ADN program at a local community college is a good step? My ultimate goal is to get a BSN at UW(hopefully) and perhaps a master after that. The only thing is I might have to move with my husband to a different state after two years so that kinda worries me. TIA!
Hey! This is just my opinion, but starting an ADN can save a lot of money. Many work places don’t require a BSN to work as an RN (some require it after 4-5 years I think) and also help pay for your tuition toward a BSN so it might be something to look into! As long as you complete school and are eligible to take the NCLEX exam, you can apply for a nursing license in a different state than where you attended school. I hope this helps! 😊
I m student of nursing 1 St year so hows your experience in nursing I'm telling 🤗☺️☺️
와 지나지나 1만 축하 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ!!!!
You honestly convinced me to transfer to UW; I am pre-nursing at a University that I am not happy at. It's affecting my personal life and nursing school journey. No one in my family supports me going out of state, but I want to go somewhere I know I choose for myself and my future. Watching your videos gave me comfort and motivation to go for what I want, so thank you! I hope you are doing well! -Ellie (who is also an army hehe)... :)
Excited for you!! I wish you all the best in your nursing career 😊 -From one army to another 💜
Do you always get night shift as a nurse within a year?
Not always but it is very common if you decide to work at a hospital as a new graduate!
I start the UW ABSN program in Fall of 2022, so this video was super helpful! I can't wait.
Yay, congrats!!! Excited for you 🥳
"i personally don't find it a cute color" this comment killed me hhhhh ~ 🤣💖 loved this video, and all your vlogs for that matter! i'm going to nursing school for further education after previously receiving a BA for undergrad so these videos are providing a lot of good information.
Good luck in nursing school!! I’m glad my videos are helpful 😊
Wonderful life!
They make it so hard to get into nursing school
This is my exact timeline too! Decided my senior year of college that I wanted to be a PA, got my CNA then realized I wanted to do nursing. I did a year of prereqs/work and I just got accepted to an ABSN program!
Congrats!!! Excited for you 😊
