You have to use a bypass to get around the SGW when using alfa. But you need to start with the correct RF hub and BCM.

I feel like you should tap in with khal srt, he seems to be an expert on the programming of these cars, would be a cool collab as well

Buy new modules keep original bcm , it's been flashed to steel it

And they say only honda bois have a lab top 😅

I feel like khal-srt or fadi koka would be your bet with this situation

The Thieves likely shorted something on the board, or they did some hack so that no matter what changes happen, modules revert back to the VIN they programmed. It's very likely something simple and stupid, considering the hackjobs these guys normally employ.

1:12 Steering rack control module. Why the F does a car need a control module for the steering rack? And what happens when the module for your steering glitches out? My dad always used to say, "That's just more shit that'll break" and more and more, I see his wisdom.

Maybe the thief’s reprogrammed the demon ecu to make a key and maybe hide the crime.

Some modules are grounded through the module housings so for good measure I Would make sure you have a good ground for the modules unless they have a plastic body and be careful if you are doing any welding on the car. Make sure your twisted comm lines are away from any electrical “noise” and not touching ground so they can communicate properly with SGW module and the rest of the network and make sure the star connector is good if it has one and not burnt up.

The bigger problem is the parts have to be programed with vin numbers...why would you have to have a vin number in a steering rack....sounds like some dumb shit

i had a issue like that i have a bunch of the older srt8s and since i have a few i borrowed a pcm from one to another and well that vin over wrote over the orginal on a few modules important one being the BCM so when you see orginal and current there diffrent i assume this is so people cant swap the pcm to steal a car but once you have a mixed matched vin you have to get them all back align pcm and tipm bcm being the important ones

Not being mean when I ask this but can’t you just run a holly setup and get it running like a lot of drag cars I see do ? Also I have the pink demon stays in the fam forever this is my favorite build y’all are doing

My favorite channel. I often dive into car projects and these guys help me through the tough times. I think it’s the necessary patience required to complete a build. When things go wrong they don’t stress they just blame Fernando. lol keep up the good work. You will get that demon up and running I’m sure before I finish my 550i.

You need to dump the files with the program and you need to change the vin with a .bin file on hex editor and rewrite the .bik file

The fact that you can have all these physical components but are getting stuck because ECU modules have different VINS is ridiculous. I can see why people are so dead set on sticking with older cars.

If you can de computer a cummins what can you not de computer that.

Anti-theft is great and all but making it practically impossible for the average Joe to get a part from the junkyard to repair their car is just ridiculously stupid. Changing a suspension or other control module from a wrecked car should be plug and play. Leave the vin in, fine, but dont disable the damn part just because they dont match. They can't even keep up with stocking most replacement parts NIB, but hey lets destroy the recycling or reselling of used parts what a great idea. Thieves wont care, they'll invest in the tech to make it work to turn a buck unlike some dude working on his car so he can go to work the next day...
