Silver Pozzoli – Around My Dream (Disco D'Or, 1985)
there are two other versions of this file on UA-cam dot com, but one of them is in mono, and the other cuts off the beginning, so I am reuploading this, the best version, for my friend Marge.

I'm not longer comfortable with the way I originally characterised this video, so I'll simply leave the viewer with a message from my superego: Enjoy!
Good and entertaining. Would be interesting to have the follow-up until today...2024... irk.
very nice
Great series! Thank you for uploading!
Originally from an American TV show called Burke's Law, season 2 episode 12 "Who killed 711?" "It's my therapy. I'm still perfecting it." what does it do? What's it for? well nothing. nothing. I mean, that's the beauty of it.
The sickest part of all of this, is that the CIA doesn't really generate its own art, I don't think it's capable. It co-ops existing, organic movements and steers them off a cliff.
Lol all this bashing of the Soviet union will we have George Lucas saying he Envy his friends in the SU because they had more freedom to express then he did.
In my personal opinion, it seems the CIA hijacked and recreated the Russian/Soviet Avant-Gard that was replaced by the Communists with Socialist Realism. Let's pick up where 'Suprematism' and 'Constructivism' left off and move it to the United States. Please tell me that 'Green Stripe' (1917) by Olga Rozanova would not fit in the A.E. movement of the 1950s? Ivan Kudriashev, Boris Ender, Pavel Filonov, and many others surpassed most of the A.Es. Thank God for Camilla Gray's book in 1962.
Definetly don't agree with Theosophy being made out to be a "Cult.." Maybe some Occult undertones sure but not with malicious intent. No one is trying to control anyone in Theosophy, HPB although the founder and obviously a core influence with her writings etc, she was not the only leader, nor claimed to be as far as I can find. Great documentary all the same, this whole series is excellent. Thanks for uploading it!
I just wanted to say i hope you're doing well...
I'm doing just fine, hope you are doing well friend
@@planetjanet3845 good to know. I'm doing alright friend
this is the craziest zizek interview to date. i think that the host not having any knowledge of philosophy or zizek makes it even better.
Seems like the CIA has always "known better" and done what it likes.
The CIA = Jezuits. Drug peddler, child trafficer and destroyer of everything valuable for mankind.
It's been suggested that the CIA promoted non-representational art over other modernist styles because non- representational art was devoid of political content. It could be seen as "revolutionary," radical, avant garde, etc., yet it didn't actually say anything critical of the status quo in America. Whatever its merits (so the claim goes), it didn't depict anything to do with existing institutions or policies, with inequality, distribution of power and wealth, with war, sexism, racism, the FBI, the CIA, or anything else. Is this true? If it is, was the literary material the CIA sponsored similarly defanged?
This entire documentary feels like a revisionist CIA approved brainwashing of history .
Wonder who is funding & facilitating the "Thug Culture" in Black America?
I’m noticing a pattern here
The trend toward "modern art" or what's now termed "post-modernism" began when Beethoven was still alive. How much money was Beethoven given by the CIA?
No it wasn’t. Wtf are you talking about?!
@@chrisharrell7460 Yes it did. Do you have a degree in the field?
@@chrisharrell7460 I'm talking about "post-modernism." Do you have a degree?
@@F_ckAllTrumpVoters Modern art started in the late 19th century. Not in Beethoven's time.
How to digest it? High modernism has alway been arrogant and imperialistic, and to today American art has been "decorative", just go to Chelsea, it's astonishing how ignorant the artist are.
The narrator links occultism with the word 'cult' and uses the latter word to describe theosophy. Is theosophy a cult? Maybe in the older, broader sense of the word. But the Theosophical Society doesn't try to control its members' lives, tell them whom they can and can't associate with, what they can or can't read, think, or say. It's more like a conventional religious organization with an emphasis on Hindu metaphysics, comparativism, occultism, and spiritual experiences. (Blavatsky's fraud notwithstanding.) Most organizations that focus on occultism are not cults in the modern sense.
But what about the young boy who they groomed and raised to think he was the new age messiah?....
The government are nothing but corrupt liars (true then, now, and years from now), how do we know they actually funded abstract expressionism and all these magazines? It’s easy enough for them to say they have. If they have receipts they could just manufacture them.

Still the greatest TV interview of all time
Wow the host handled himself a bit foolishly but times were weird back then.
They were probably using crappy abstract art, like Jackson Pollok's barf paintings to launder money.
for sure.
Spot on! Not just money , drugs and children too.
Respect u have been around since 2007
The smile at the beginning
38:38 The real purpose of the 1948 Marshall Plan was to funnel undocumented funds to create the newly founded country called Israel. Google, "Marshall Plan Fraud".
This is equivilant to the gov legalizing weed!
this is the definition of good vibes:)
Interesting last two minutes of the video...not the documentary, but the uploaded video itself. Kandinsky at play.
Although I did edit out some copyrighted material, the file comes directly from the DVD, so that blank section was on there.
THINK OF WHAT THEY DO WITH MUSIC! ALL IS SOCIAL MANIPULATION!
holy young zizek
Thanks Lek
Lek... why'd you leave?
Thank you...
Koyote
This is the closest approximation we'll ever get to Zizek being interviewed by an in-character Fred Willard.
What is the painting at the end of part 1? That is obviously a representation of the battle for Heaven. One can clearly make out the a face, presumably the Lord's, when the camera begins it's dolly. When it stops, the Morning Star is obviously just off center frame. Pitchfork & all. Are these the burned in images of an apostate doubter, who spent his adolescence in catechism? Or is that the power of abstract expressionism's ability to tap directly into the reptilian brain? I'd still like the name of that painting..
There always a but, hate it ,but it is 🎨art
They went from liberal to communist Nazis in 2021!?
Skipping episodes 2 and 3 for now cuz I just need to know why Helena Blavatsky is in the thumbnail.
Russia pioneered abstraction and was very advanced until Stalin. However America and western culture have become entrenched in modernism and abstraction . The institutions rejected figurative arts and skills only now some of it is making a come back.
Totally gorgeous song from 1984. I loved this tune as soon as I had heard it.
The dancer was absolutely avant-garde !
There is something about this song...Definitely a groove tune. Catchy and well done.
