So how come you’re not showing a full detailed teardown like if your boat motor comes with a speed vacuum tube to the lower unit also, no one shows people how to disconnect the gearshift mechanism which is very crucial because if you get it wrong the first time it jumps out of gear. It rolls the square is edge on the dog, which is actually your shifter in the lower unit and from that point, you won’t be able to get it to stay in gear. It will constantly pop out, I’m going to assume that the shift disconnect is a simple nutted collar. Call.

You didn't show people which way to rotate the impeller when putting cover on

I have an Ice Chest that fits exactly into the kayak with rod holders on it. I'm able to toss my salmon into it easily. This allows the factory rod holders free for my net and gaf for rockfish. Just an idea, and it fits like a glove in that space. Clean install on your electronics, great content!

Much easier to do with the lower unit standing up, not laying down.

I've never fished tidal waters, but I fish Erie and when the wind changes directions, it can pull or raise water in certain areas. One year wind changed and the parking lot was flooded all the way to the bottom of my truck door

Hey man I have the same motor on my boat boat, are you constantly replacing prop bore sleeves or have you found a fix for that?

Did you have to rotate the impeller when you put it in the impeller housing?

This was crazy helpful. It is always nerve wracking to drill into something as expensive as this but you gave a good look at what needs done. Holes can be fixed easily foe water but won't look as good. That's an insurance policy. Thanks for sharing!

Great video. I am eyeballing one of these. The only holdup is the hole in the bottom when not using the pedal drive. I was glad to see there are many products out there to cover it. I want this to be my last kayak I'll need and sometimes will want/need to just paddle. This is going to be the kayak for me. It has it all!
