Hope your mom is doing good man!
She's do'n ok, considering everything she's been through. Thanks so much!!
Incredible.......extreme respect to you for covering that distance. Very best wishes to you. wOOw Best regards; Peter Scotland United Kingdom
Hey, thanks so much for watching & commenting, & best wishes to you & yours as well!
all good, but bike should not only be reliable but also give some fun to the rider ;)
Couldn't agree more, I don't think there is any doubt that it was a ton of fun! Thanks for watching & commenting!
Just fantastic! That trip just sounds amazing. I'm an older guy now and used to many bikes much larger. I have a Scram 411 and I can totally appreciate your feelings of these amazing 411s that possess some special 'spirit'. I can appreciate the pleasure that Himalayan must give on a trip like that. I agree that the capacity might be improved for a little more punch, but then again it would lose something (as the 452 seems to be doing). You mentioned the 650 - I also have a INT650 and the 411 is always my preferred. Hope you get that work - wish I could help. Respect.
Hey thanks, it was absolutely amazing, definitely the adventure of a lifetime! Very cool that you have a couple Royal Enfield's & that you too like them so much, but I can't imagine anyone not liking or loving them like we do! I so appreciate you watching, & commenting!! Ride safe, & have fun!
Hey were were you heading ? You ever read a book called pilgrims progress? On your travel up that way did you see any proof of an old railroad on the side of the road ?
Greetings! I was just ride'n around North America, camp'n, seeing the sites, & meeting a lot of great people for a few months. Yes I have, that's certainly a good one. I can't say, in particular, that I saw any old railroad up there, but I'd imagine I crossed some. Thanks for watching & commenting!
Plot twist! It was a holiday in Canada after all 🇨🇦
I don’t know what’s better. The unbelievable, beautiful Fraser River and mountains and the valley there or the level of joy and excitement on your face being there!!! Puts a big smile on my face 😊
What an exciting moment! The Canadian border 🇨🇦
Man Kevin. Thanks for your story of sobriety. So important to share it. Powerful stuff man. Thank you. 🙏
I just can’t get over how tough and brave you are to just lay down in your sleeping bag on a sleeping pad next the road and actually sleep! Cowboy camping! I would lay there all night with one eye open!
What a VIEW!!! Mountains! Trees! Wow😲
What a blessing that they invited you to share their campsite! That’s awesome.
What an excellent camp site! A guy I know uses a teepee like that to smoke his fish over the campfire. I wonder if that’s what it was used for. I don’t think so because there’s no soot on it that I could see. Love your Jacobs Garage shirt! 👍🏻
What a beautiful spot!!!
Huge piece of driftwood!!! Dang!
Awesome to see the real love for the bike, seems the Himalayan carries that lure…
Yeah the Himalayan is easy to love, & I truly do love my ol hoss Zeke! Thanks for watching & commenting!
Incredible journey! (I've hit the same corners and Alaska, but not in ONE continuous trip!!!) A true testimonial to Less is More. I've ridden the western TAT and AZBDR on a 250 enduro - and the 411cc Himalayan is luxury and massive upgrade in comparison.
Thanks so much! Sounds like ya've really hit a lot of great places too, & I can certainly imagine that the Himalayan is luxurious for ya after do'n so much on a 250 enduro; which, I'll bet, was a ton of fun though! Thanks again, I appreciate ya watch'n & commenting!
I have just started my love affair with the him411, what a peach of a bike, bags of smiles every time I ride it. lots of character , rugged ,reliable, affordable , cheap to run. good looking bike. Looking forward to many miles and new friends on the way. New 450 water cooled version now available, but this 411 has the charm.
Love the way to describe the him411, well put! Thanks for watching & commenting, & keep on smiling!
Just watching your review on the himi after your 22k trip it’s a interesting video to watch I’ve had my Himalayan Scram411 for nearly a year and after 60 or so bikes I’m still very impressed with the Himalayan despite not doing the mileage you’re done. They are a simple long stroke mid sized engine that should run and run so long as it’s serviced regularly as you’ve proven. God bless you and keep yourself safe. 😊
Hey thanks so much, I appreciate you watching & commenting! Like you said, they are simple, & should essentially run forever. And, very cool that you're ride'n a Scram, have fun & God bless you too!
Enjoyed watching a bunch of these videos this morning. Thanks for sharing this epic adventure of a lifetime.
Watching this and thinking about what you said in the previous video about “I’m close to the edge but not at the edge. Close enough for my comfort level”. Dang! Would not want to fall in there. Then I thought about the spiritual equivalent. So many times I get too close to the edge of the “Devil’s Churn” and man… don’t realize it. Again… need to be mindful not to get too close!
You nailed it! Overwhelming beauty! God is AWESOME! Thanks for bringing us along and sharing this! 👍🏻
Gorgeous place
I might be crazy but I think I did see an Ewok… 🤷🏼♂️
Made me think of Greg… 😢
Beautiful place. Great stories of the people you’re running into. Enjoying tagging along with you.
I guess it was 7 mos ago so maybe it’s excusable that I forgot!!!
Oh man!!! I’m losing it… watching same ones I watched before and making the same comments and I didn’t even remember watching it before!!! Hahahaha 🤪
That dog reminds me of my Boy Scout! Loves his ears rubbed!
Chili peppers on a McDouble. Sounds good to me! 👍🏻
Stock seat?
I have the same bike, same year....
was the rim road open all way around? were hiking trails open?
I dont know for sure, but I'd say everything was open. Thanks for watching & commenting!
@@purplepilgrimadventures6506 my pleasure, the view is amazing, thank you for posting, will go for the first time this June.
@hapyguy46226 Man that's great you'll be head'n out there in June, it's one of my favorite places, you will absolutely love it!!
Just got my 2022 Himi. Plan a trip to East coast Canada, from Manitoba. Half-way across. Only have 200 miles on it.
God bless you sir!
❤
Rolling on despite the liquid sunshine 🌧️🌧️🌧️
Right on brother, definitely liquid sunshine!
I’ve never ridden in the rain. On purpose. Need to do it sometime to learn how so in case I need to it isn’t the first time!
But it looked like the hard stuff wasn’t coming in for a while. Bonus points if you recognize the movie reference from my botched comment!😂
I hope you made it back home safely!
If you need a destination for your next ride, you're always welcome in NC or even AR!
Yee haw!
The mug would be a "talisman". Like starting an offshore voyage, it brings you luck and safety.
Hey thanks, I appreciate ya watch'n & comment'n!
Good to see you again.
Thank you!
Thanks for showing it to us up close.
Pretty cool to see the rivets up close! Special to see the one for Grandpa “Boxcar Willie” Cook.
Made it!
I’ve been to that place! The burgers were great at the Motor Cafe. The Milwaukee river is cool. My son fly fishes further up river where it is wadable and catches small mouth bass. The river wall is a cool way to honor a loved one. Looks like you guys are having a good time!
Very cool that you've been there man, & yes sir, the burger that I had was amazing! And that's neat that your son fly fishes the river & catches smallmouth! I don't flyfish, but I love wade'n for smallmouth with my spinning rig!
I didn’t know about the memorial rivet for Dad Cook. If I’m ever up that way, I’ll make sure I get to see it.
Cool memorial idea & neat place!
Thanks for taking the time to post video updates❤
Thanks for take'n the time to watch & comment!😊
