Can we get a VT in the southeast for once? I know there is a good support in NC. Florida would be nice for people with families to make a trip out of it. Hard to justify the cost to go the Baltimore or Rochester.

Fantastic video, discussed at our KeyForge event last Saturday! Really nice examination of Sky Beast traits! Loved your observation about Leviathan and fish, but you will also want to include marine mammals (whales, Moby Dick) and mollusks (giant squid). In 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (also referenced in Æmber Skies), Nemo's Nautilus is initially mistaken for a leviathan.

Great video :) It was definitely interesting to see what your take is on the different traits. I think that your theory on leviathans is little off... Instead of giant fish, I'd guess leviathan stands more for a giant sea critter in general. There are leviathans in different gaming universes, and while they are all vastly different, they usually share the fact they are giant, and that they resemble a sea creature. It would also explain the Screeyan, who reminds me of a giant mutated crab. With Tyrannus Aquilae, I'm not sure what to think. I agree with you that classifying him as a dinosaur is wonky, but I also don't think it should be considered a dragon. It just doesn't feel like one, if that makes sense...? Maybe it should just remain traitless or maybe get the myth one like Naja(even though Naja is probably based on Quetzalcoatl mythological creature). Anyways thank you and I hope you'll stay motivated to do more work for us! I'm really looking forward to seeing more of Draconian Measures, once more will get revealed, so I hope you'll be covering it, too :)

Love this episode! They've always been a little messy with traits, and I don't think they're always fully thought out. But maybe we can do some backflips to explain some of these! Cyborg is gonna need a bigger discussion for sure, but I have a lot of thoughts there. I have a sort of blanket explanation for some of these odd trait placements. Æmber Skies being set in the sky supports a cultural detachment. The Imps and Demons we're used to are probably rarely encountered in the sky for most of their history, so these unaligned drifting terrors could be what Sky folk thought/think demons and imps are. In other words, they're possibly wrongly defined because of poor understanding. It can work on two levels at once. Leviathan and Dragon could be similar classifications according to Sky culture/new creative team at GG. Tyrannus Aquilae is just a huge Saurian who decided she wanted to be nude and terrorize the skies. Cloud is great. Anvil Crawler is fun. Naja is a tolpa. It started as a myth and the myth became so strong that it exists now, because æmber. Fantastic video!

3 seals per player is a good number. From a story perspective, the players at your table are only a fraction of the archons working on the vault.

For sealing of the dark amber vault, you could have creatures represent armies of creatures, therefore, each creature could represent 10 creatures. 10 would be 100 in that instance.

I like Ruthless Avenger's fate effect - not only does it purge cards from discard, but shuffling opponent's discard pile is great against GR decks that want to stay haunted

Would love it if the Skyborn got to have multiple leaders at the same time, especially if battle line maneuvering is easily accessible in the same set.

I need to find my Mass Mitation expansion cards, but I do remember Maleficorn having lore that suggests that its mutation has given it the ability to communicate. I think we need to have a deeper dive and discussion about cyborgs on the Crucible! I have a lot of thoughts and questions there!
