I think I definitely like ABB style teams better than ABC style. Seems easier to work around weaknesses as you said.

@@DCPokemon W its hella fun when you see how high you can climb even without some of the best mons or ivs but overall battling is really fun and nice too see other people getting high just almost being introduced into pvp

So a team that has been really strong for me is skarm lead with goodra ss, I use power whip instead of tp for gater ss and mudboys then I have shadow cash daddy in the back. Went from 2100 elo to 2435 with it. Almost to vet. Sort of a boring team but anyone looking to climb should do well with this team. I always bait the aqua tail on s gator. Grab a shield and then farm down. Usually end up double shielding but you have switch advantage with one of the best cores in the meta rn

Both attacks are good options and have their use cases. I think ice beam is better since grass pokemon are weak to ice and since Feraligatr is weak to grass, this gives him a fighting chance against them.

Yes and no, more yes than no LOL. But Mantine can hang with Ferrothorn with 2 shields and then Quagsire and Whiscash can clean up. Shadow Quagsire also beats Ferrothorn in the 2 shield if they have a 1 fast attack head start. With all that said, if the opponents team has a second grass pokemon we are DONEZO!

I haven't tried Swampert yet but definitely a good option.

Ferrothorn is very common at least at my elo (2300), also Perrserker gets Trailblaze now.

From my experience, lanturn is quite bad for this league, and carbink is the worst.

@@gilakail after using quagsire and whiscash in this cup I have to agree. They dominate lanturn and would be a better addition to the team.
