I started my Ace Combat journey at 7, having heard it was a great starting point (It was) and instantly fell in love with it - so I decided to next visit what I was told was the lowest of the series, just to get it out of the way - I went into Assault Horizon thinking it would be pure suffering for myself and my viewers, but honestly it had some fun moments and set pieces although the last few missions made me want to smash my keyboard lmao. I just finished AC4 thinking I'd do the holy trinity next but I was surprised to see many players mention that AC3 was a must play, all of this to say I caught the AC bug bad! Cant wait for 8!

Ok Ace7 DID NOT Bring back the “traditional Ace gameplay formula” infinity did that, But it Was in Hi-def with ORANGE Looking Flames from afterburner which was fresh air since the Horrible Grimmey look of the last Two But Ace7 still had the OVERALL experience of doodoo Respectively 😊

MS Saga is pretty good. It's pretty much Gundam Breakers before Gundam Breakers. Customization-wise.

Xi Gundam is a very good MS with good weapons damage, skills are good tho it takes skill to do top damage and Xi Isn't that super OP for 5 star rarity since it's flight skill require a skill player who know how to play space to manage its movement in the air. Also glad to see you back and doing well

I shit you not, I saw a Xi Gundam get sniped out of the sky by what was probably a level 4 Gunner Gundam in an unrestricted battle. Funniest stuff I've ever seen.

its not fromsoftwares fault, at least not entirely, back then they werent so popular and had to switch between publishers all the time, its a legal issue. the publishers dont see any profit in it so they just leave the games shelved forever. only hope is emulation advancements...

This is why when a game becomes truly dead (you can no longer buy a legal copy in a way that gives revenue to the developers) I am all for emulation. Unfortunately AC4, AC4A, ACV, ACVD are difficult to emulate

I feel the pain, I wanted to show my audience the forbidden Ace Combat game (Assault Horizon) and the hoops I had to jump through to get a steam key...but it was worth it! There is no jank quite as good as 360 era jank.

The only AC game I've played was last raven. I've been wanting to play other later gen AC games especially FA, but the struggle is real. Shame I won't be able to get VD anymore without the possibility of getting scammed. 😔

I’ve been able to top the scoreboard with a lvl 3 and 4 gaz-L so it’s not like higher level suits are unviable but it really does depend on factors like their skills

Tips about the lag?

It’s a shame. When I first saw this suit maybe 15 years ago I loved the design. As a kid I noticed the armament of Z2 is not close quarters effective. Aesthetically the things perfect, practicality wise though not so much. Even the Zeta has grenade launcher or anchor wire for close range.
