Welcome to Band-Maid, the best progressive hard rock band on the planet. As you are now aware, you've also attracted the attention of the Maidiacs, Band-Maid's extremely loyal fandom. If you like rock music - any type of rock music - then you have found the holy grail. Band-Maid have over 120+ songs, no two songs are the same, and they are all fantastic. Fyi, "Alone" holds a very special place in the hearts of Maidiacs as it was the first song entirely written by the Maids that their management at the time allowed them to record (track 8, Brand New Maid, their third studio album). In the same pop punk vein and some years later is "Choose Me" which was featured along with a cameo of the band in the film, Kate. Welcome to Band-Maid Isaac! The best hard rock band I have heard in my 58 years on this planet. They don't stick to any one genre and often mix genres in songs. They are extremely diverse and have an extensive back catalogue featuring Punk, Pop-Punk, Hard-Rock, Classic Rock, Metal, Prog, Blues, Jazz, Groove, Rap etc. From face melting 220 bpm punk-prog mayhem to ballads, instrumentals to acoustics they do it all. They can make you headbang, they can make you pogo, they can make you cry like a baby. They are also five of the nicest people in music, without a shred of ego. They are funny and fun and world class musicians to boot. They are currently into their 12th year with the original line up. And they are the best live band I have ever witnessed! Btw, Miku the rhythm guitarist (red rose) formed the band. She had the idea of Band-Maid after working as a maid in Japanese maid cafe's. Her idea is a concept called "The Gap" - that is what you see (cute maids) is NOT what you get (Hard Rock/Punk/Metal). They take the maid café concept literally. They call their concerts "servings" and their fans "Masters and Princesses". Oh, and Miku is an 810 year old small pigeon. Welcome to the pigeon hole Po!
