Most eye doctors (actually all) that I have gone to will not mess with those floaters, because of worse complications. They do tend to settle after a while.

I have had borderline high eye pressure for nearly all my life. Recently it went up to 28 and my doctor put me on drops, and it went down to 18. Very grateful since I have only one seeing eye. I have had floaters from time to time over the years. Recently, I started taking a collagen supplement for an unrelated condition. I noticed that the floaters go away much more quickly now. This would seem to be a pretty easy fix. I did not see mention of this in the video ?

All you need is a couple of thousands of dollars for the surgery thats not covered by health insurance.

What causes slight flashes in the eye? I have some small floaters but the flashes have me wondering.

Hi Dr. Elizabeth: if I improve my blood pressure will my eye pressure also improve? Both family doctor and eye doctor are recommending losing weight by taking Ozempic. I don't think I want to put that into my body. I walk every day now, and my blood pressure is improving.

I took flomax for prostate enlargement issue during passing a kidney stone and got a strange eye effect. I Stopped flomax immediately and the eye effect also stopped. Flomax can cause floppy Iris and you should tell your eye doctor before cataract surgery. I take 3 teaspoons of tomato paste daily now to help prostate enlargement issues and it works for me.

Dr Scott Geller in Ft Myers lasered my floaters 100% successfully on 3 different occasions. I wish I still lived close, because floaters can and do continue to appear. It's been over 6 years since my last treatment, and some more have appeared. I have total faith in Dr Geller, a true expert and wonderful Doctor.

And extreme care is needed with the drops that have a beta blocker. They nearly stopped my heart.

My eye is still looking cobbled and despite the ointment s and eye drops its still very painful and the sr did not explain if its glaucoma or cataracts.just said no need for operation and i will not understand anyway which i consider patroninsing.my vision is also very blurry.started when i noticed my left eye becoming watering likeca fountain! He said i must use a heated gel pad on my eyes everyday for 5 mins.forcthecrest of my life as i had lasik previously but now i dont have medical aid so had to go to state hospitals where the drs does not inform one or even want to write doen what is wrong or the diagnosis

Not well known fact is being anxious or stressed can raise your eye pressure immediately. Same as with blood pressure. Even doctors are not aware of this. There is an online community FIT EYES who have personal experience with this. You can join and read their posts.

Doc., I've recently experienced mild floaters for the first time. You mentioned collagen in the video. I've also recently added collagen supplementation to perhaps minimize some discomfort with strength training and tennis in my senior years. Could the collagen supplement be a factor with the onset of the floaters? Thank you!

I got diagnosed with glaucoma 2 months ago on eye drops, anybody else gaining weight from the medication, I looked side effects and sure enough you can gain weight 🤷‍♀️

What about steroids induced glaucoma?

I've been born with cataract and glaucoma. Never had an issue with my eye pressure until very recently. Was at 7-9 start of Novemver and at 56 start of December. My eye hurt, i saw blurry, my contact lense felt so strange, headache, rainbows around lights, red itchy eye.... I'm on drops now so back to normal. I'm already blind on my left eye (happened 3weeks after birth) so It might be a rare case where it can lead much more rapidly to serious issues.
