A test render / Demo for a "drag and drop" system to get decent weapon effects in the render without compositing.

Shell Ejection
The smoke and sparks need a bit of tweaking for a final result, but at least it kind of works, and the amount of post process time is cut back significantly.

"A whole lot of unfinished work" I attended 3 render challenges this year: Endless Engines, Boss Fight and Robotic Wildlife I resumed work on ongoing projects and started many new ones I did a lot of modeling, rigging and animating, but not a lot of rendering.

just superb, however they didnt put you in top 100 because clint personally looks for new idea and generally avoids something that exists already. There wre many renders of transfomers that were insane in terms of animation but were not in top100. Reason was still the same.
