They played Southampton University Refectory on this tour, after all! Typical Zeppelin comments - either "The. Best. Band. Ever." or "They were crap live and ripped off Bluesmen." The truth is of course somewhere in between. I love Zeppelin, but no more than Purple, Mott, Lizzy, UFO, all bands we're expected to regard as inferior. Well, we don't. Zep were brilliant, and other bands don't have to be put down to express that. Houses of the Holy is a really INTERESTING album. It set the scene for In Through the Out Door, I believe.

Interesting. I always assumed that Page played both the chord riff and the pull offs in open G live but this sounds like he is just doing the pull offs and leaving the main riff to Jonesy.

Im always amaze as to how much Stone Temple Pilots sounds like this song (at least the album version). It was only fitting that they covered it on the tribute album. One of my favorites.
