I had lost my mom to breast cancer before EW came out, and when I first heard this song I broke down into tears. To me, this song was like a message from her to keep moving forward and make a better life for myself.

I remember walking up that path thinking that these guys finally made a patch worthy of being called a FF game. I hated when they brought the main cast back. The feelings I felt for their sacrifice was for nothing. Now that I know there aren’t any stakes for them I stopped carrying about all of them lol

Long after I finished Endwalker, I can't help but shed tears every time I listen to FFXIV's music/OST, from ARR-EW. I've never felt anything like this from a game before.

Hopeful dynamis is probably one of my favs but this is a hard 2nd.

This game literally teaches you that it's okay to cry. It's okay to reach bottom, to feel despair. Still you must always search for the light. One step at a time. Day by day. You'll suffer through life but there is still things to enjoy in life. I'm a therapist and this is how I envision pain. I've been through very dark times. But couldn't put into words what kept me going, how I "got out of it" . I think that, It was my friends, the people who loved me and cared. Some of them are gone now. But still. Day by day, I found some joy. I never thought I would be able to experience happiness when I was deep in depression. The fact that a got better gave me the power to belive that we can change. We can feel better. If your struggling, there is always someone out there who will care. That person if you wish, will just give you.. A little push. Tell you how important you are... I never cried playing a video game. And this one at multiple moments dug deep into the fears and anxieties I have. I realised, it's okay to cry, to let your emotion be there with you. They will pass and another day will begin. Your journey is just beginning warriors of light 💜

You know this music really hit me hard the first time i heard it in it's complete form. That day i had broken up with my girlfriend because of cultural differences in our family's and it was pretty hard on her. I tried playing the game to ignore the pain but that scene where the warrior of light is succumbing to the weight of the despair and the memories are helping him move forward just broke me .

This song to me feels more like the theme song of Endwalker than Footfalls.

This is a pretty cool idea and I've just now stumbled on it. I hope it pops off! If I can give some advice (and I'm not entirely sure whether this is due to my monitor & TV) - it would have to be to upload the videos at a higher quality, or less compression. I'm not sure how UA-cam uploads work, but even @1440p on a 4K Monitor and TV, your video seems a bit blurry. For a series that emphasizes vistas and showing off beautiful areas, I think you should make it an effort to improve the quality!

The moment this song first started, it instantly became my favourite moment in any game. Just the sheer emotion of it all, and the fact that we all experience the same path through the area as there is no skipping this segment. I do feel sorry for all story skippers who missed out on this feeling.

I skipped most of the cutscenes in ARR HW and STB and even SB but I watched every cutscenes in EW and I cried like a mother fucker during the walk in Ultima Thule

Everyone complains about this playing in Ultima Thule, and periodically I just zone in just to absorb it in all over again.

The walking tour of FFIXV continues, this time with Elpis. Absolutely loved this zone and the story that went with it, so much lore!

I'm crying. This song is damn so cool

Realizing the song was getting more clear with each section of Ultima Thule hurt. And when the vocals kicked in, I was instantly crying.

And I'm still in this area trying to get all the aether currents, I can't make myself turn the sound off because the song is so good but I always cry. This song hits me hard.

I don't know if I Mandela Effect'ed my own brain or I just misheard it the whole time since I had the BGM mixed quieter but I could have sworn the last line was "forge ahead til the end of days". Guess I was just wrong, lol.

This song in a cutscene: cuts deep. This song in the field, constantly looping, and BGM overriding battle themes: obnoxious. Srs, it's great in the cutscenes where it was first heard, but this song was what finally convinced me to install an add-on to replace music in the game.
