I just finished Cobalt Core this morning and definitely gonna hop back in again, this game rules. Thank you so much for making this video, putting it all in chronological order really helps give a better idea on what happened before the Time Loop began

I've said it before and I'll say it again: This version of (S)Holmes is a much more accurate adaptation of how he was in the source material than a lot of the modern adaptations that depict him as this cold, calculated badass. He's always been eccentric, to the point of coming off as weird to others, but with an underlying, undeniable sense of genius. In that sense, Sholmes is far from a bad interpretation of the character.

When you saw the timeline comparison of THIS video.... it looks like Mikotoba deduce it in about 10 minutes, but with Sholmes only 10 SECONDS to figure it out... good Gracious as Mikotoba said it

I'm a bit disappointed we don't get to see Evil Riggs' memories after Riggs gets them back. Probably the most enigmatic character in the game, since she's an ex-pirate and betrays the group on the Cobalt that she's working for even after they were nice to her and invited her to eat tacos with them. I know we get to see more of her in Drake's memories but I wanted to explore her evil half more, since the game sort of glosses over that side of her.

Thanks for the lore dump! Was wondering about all of the backstories.

Fun fact: In the first deduction in the series, Sholmes claimed Pavlov was inside a suitcase, though it would be revealed Pavlov was disguised as the strange man and she brought her cat in the suitcase. Here though, Jigoku is actually hiding in his suitcase [and would be later found he smuggled Gregson's body in it], so that's a really clever callback.

you know the fact that nobody could even REALISE that mikotoba was gonna be his partner, and the fact that we play as him while tap dancing and posing just shows how well this game was written, honestly i just cant even get over this shit man

The simple fact that Herlock Sholmes was SANDBAGGING the whole time because he didn't want to make the game too easy for us XD

6:48 This isn't a jab at the developers, of course I understand that researching Victorian Britain must've been a headache, but I do genuinely find it very funny to see actual modern £20 notes in the pocket. But then again I appreciate that they actually used British Pounds and didn't just put a wad of Yen there calling it "Pounds"

The moment I saw 0:50, I was like "OMG Sholmes is getting serious with this deduction." I mean, him and his partner doing a deduction together?! Are you serious?! Best deduction out of all of the ones I've seen in this game.

Seishiro must've been sweating bullets and knows he's fcked. He was a fellow visiting student when Sholmes and Mikotoba became partners so he definitely knows how they solved mysteries back then

God I got so emotional with this final deduction.

Crazy how Sholmes is actually competent and is just testing Ryunosuke.

When the 7 digit code appeared, I though "Wow, Sholmes has 7 letters!" And then "oh wait, it's a number code" And then the Strogenov arm appeared and I was "Wow, I was totally ahead of myself without really knowing!"

I love how sholmes closes his eyes for most of this basically saying i don't need to observe the scene anymore I've solved everything
