Windows NT 4.0 Computer
This computer is an old Meecer from 1997 running Windows NT 4.0 service pack 1.
This computer has an Intel Pentium 1 installed with 32MB of memory and a 3GB hard drive. It also has a Trident VGA video card with 1 MB of video RAM and an ES1869 sound card.
Windows NT 4.0 is a NT based version of Windows built on the NT 4.0 Kernel hat was released in 1996. Windows NT 4.0 was the predecessor to Windows 2000 and the successor to Windows NT 3.51 and was the NT counterpart to Windows 95 and Windows 98. Windows NT 4.0 was the first NT version of Windows to make use of the taskbar and start menu. Windows NT 4.0 would also bring to the NT line of Windows, windows explorer, my computer, network neighborhood and the recycle bin. Windows NT 4.0 would also have a total of six service packs released over its life span. Support for Windows NT 4.0 ended in 2004.

Installing windows 95 on a PC from 1997

After some time, the Windows 95 computer was in dire need of a rebuild. As a result I needed to install Windows 95 again. Some of the issues that I needed to fix were a short on the motherboard and a failing floppy drive as well as a few issues with the operating system resulting in it needing a reinstall. Dot Matrix Repair (Clogged Heads)

Recently the ink roller in the ribbon cartridge disintegrated resulting in it gumming up the heads on the printer. This caused the pins to get stuck and the printer to print poorly.

Installing Microsoft Office 3.1

After I rebuilt the Windows 3.1 computer it needed to have Office installed. So I decided to install an older version of Microsoft Office. I put the install files directly on the hard drive and installed it from there. If you would like to see a more in depth install of how i put the files on the hard drive let me know in the comments.

The newly rebuilt Windows 3.1 computer with DOS Shell

I recently rebuilt the Windows 3.1 computer after finding a new period correct case for it. I removed the CD-ROM because it did not work. I also installed DOS-SHELL with Wordperfect and Lotus 123 onto this computer. Under the hood it is exactly the same as it was before.

Windows 7 was the first operating system I used on my mom’s work laptop! I have nostalgic memories using it when I was little! Windows 7 is and will always be my favorite windows operating systems of all time! Better than 11, and way better than 10! And I still use it to this day
Windows 98 was honestly the best operating system in the 90s! It sold very well, the startup and shutdown sounds are phenomenal! Microsoft did so well with this OS
