glucose gel tastes disgusting haha, its pure glucose (basically pure sugar) and is a life saving thing for diabetics with low blood sugar levels, ambulances even stock it. idk if its a scarce resource so I'm not saying non-diabetics shouldn't have it - but theres a weird trend of people using and taking actually scarce medical supplies for diabetics (like interstitial glucose sensors) or even if not scarce popularising it and driving prices up and thats a massive problem! Its something people should be made aware of, if only just to be informed :))))

As a big fan of Grian and a former EMT/firefighter, this was not something I expected to see haha. The glucose gel in the thumbnail (as others have mentioned, usually used for hypoglycemic diabetic emergencies) does NOT have caffeine in it. It makes much more sense that he’d be eating something made for consumption during sports, etc… than a product designed for medical treatment haha
