So basically you go from 99 designs to upwork. Interesting! I just built one myself lol But boo-boo chall, I ain't gat $3500 lmaoooooo I haven't launched it yet lol, I will soon tho :3 So I built this app from scratch. I designed my app from scratch too. ^~^ Buuuut... I also have a degree in theoretical mathematics, learned like 8 (coding) languages and I coded this in React Native (expo) WITH CHATGPT lmao So.....Yeeeaaaah. Lmao I used to be a data analyst working at an investment firm too, which required a lot of coding in R. But yeah, coding ain't easy and it ain't short. RIP. loollll This is an interesting and time-cost effective method though :) So your upfront costs were $4000-5000 excluding the formation of a company? Maybe closer to $6,000? That's still too expensive for most people. They can't afford that. Lol. My dad could though and that is who is and has been funding me this whole time. Lol. I had to quit my job because my ex-coworkers were terrible and crazy lmao But...I couldn't wait to get something started I had to find the latest business craze and jump on it so I picked mobile apps (because I can code and always knew they made money), even now I spend money on apps sometimes <3 I love Township, Gossip Harbour, lol, Genshin Impact, and those kinds. I also love Bumble lmao. My inspiration~ Mine is just like $300 to incorporate the company. $125 (for the apple developer and droid developer account) and $15 a month for Appwrite and $15 for canva hehe ^~^ Now that we have AI and I built my first one, it took me about 4 months to learn. The second one took me 3 months and I'm on the last part now!!! I should be ready to launch soon!!!! :D In mid-February or March! Eastern Europe has good developers doing cheap work because math has always been a huge thing in countries like France or Switzerland, if you look at some of the best mathematicians in history, they're from that area, like Euler or Descartes. But yeah, you're so cool! :) Smart business man, I love that for you! :3 Make dat money honey! Yaaaasssss lol. After seeing this I'm way more hopeful my app will work out!!! Hehehe <3 And if it doesn't I'm copying you and trying nutrition or health apps. I'm tired lmao, my creativity is dead. The analytics portion of this video where you discussed the nutrition aspect is veeery interesting though. Love that :) <3 Thank you~ Also, HEY!!!! So, all in all, how much have you spent to create the whole app from start to finish? It’s great if you have funds to pay someone, but if you’re starting with zero funds, then it’s going to be difficult. Especially when you live in a Third World country where the dollar rate is triple. I tried learning code but man, it’s difficult.

Great video! really helpful! I have a couple of questions: How do you validate the $3,500 cost for hiring someone to develop an app? What key questions do you ask during interviews to ensure the candidate is the right fit?

So it is simple as that. Get an idea that should be a personal problem with big trend and market (Validation) and also analyse the competition and market a lot including target audience. Create a google doc writing everything about the app, using it and the analysis of the competiton apps, create the best UI designs from 99designs. Then hire a dev.

Hey Steven, love your videos & thank you. I am trying to make an onboarding like madmuscles dance-bit and breeze wellbeing. They all use almost identical animations / screens - so I think they are made with an onboarding builder. I can't seem to figure out which one it could be but its clearly a web to app thing - do you know what im missing? I see superwall for paywalls & mobbin for the screens but I think these look like they are built in a platform
