    Awesome video! Would love a part 2 showing the management side as that's usually the most difficult part for me. Like doing the training, dealing with issues, revisions and getting something high quality delivered. Either way got a lot of value from this!

      Thanks for the kind words! What type of freelancer are you hiring? The management process all really depends on who and what you are hiring for

    As a developer on Upwork who is struggling to still get his first contract (due to the competition), it hurts that this video makes it seem like those of us that don't have any experience shouldn't be given the chance 🤧.

    Great video. About the NDA, and I doubt there is a great solution
    for this but what good is an NDA actually going do from someone who lives in Eastern Europe if we're in America?

    Trying to pick the brain of the hiring part of upwork. Can not get a job as a beginner...I have a nice folio, but somehow can't even get a job to change some css, not even thinking about building a page or website.

    I have a question. How can I hire freelancer for maintaining my SAAS?
    Should I pay someone every month for this or whenever I face problems, then I will go to Upwork and post new job.
    How did you do for your saas?
    Thanks for your kindness ❤

    What is your opinion or experience - if any - on no code development. I’ve heard that it might be cheaper up front, but you will never own your app outright

    Hi man, I’m quitting a corporate job right now(FAANG) because I had enough. Your videos inspire me to try creating own products. THANK YOU for that 🤝
    I’m still afraid of stealing my idea / code I’ve paid for by a freelancer. Does NDA really a thing if there is a re-skin option? Why freelancers don’t copy/paste/re-skin projects from portfolio? Please, explain your confidence in freelancers 😊
    Ps. +1 for Eastern European developers for the best quality/money ratio.

      i don't want to be a racist here but indian devs shares client codes among each other i saw it many times on facebook but other devs don't that often belive me its enough them to work on multiple project they don't want to manage 1001 other things too like tik-tok ads etc

    What would be your advice to make sure they are qualified if I am hiring as a non-tech person?

    • @alexman378
      @alexman378 3 місяці тому

      Either get someone who is technologically inclined on your team, or use ChatGPT.
      No joke, it can be flawed, but if you tell it exactly what you want and what the freelancers need to know or what skills they need to have, it will get you those. It’s not perfect but if you don’t know enough about the field and don’t have an ally who does, that’s the next best thing.
      It’s helped me a lot.

      Hard question to answer! It really depends on the complexities of the app you are trying to build. Start simple with an MVP to save $ on development and then make improvements / changes as you get feedback from users.

    Do you know how much it would cost me to do a ecommerce website app from scratch? Or do you think i should use a no code program like flutterflow to build my app?

    • @danialsadiq933
      @danialsadiq933 8 місяців тому +1

      Depends on the complexity of the ecommerce website. In 90 percent of cases you can do a no code website. There are many templates available for it. For no code you can get it built for $300 - $500. Coding it from scratch would cost at least $3000. I recommend going no end as a top notch website is not the "it" factor that makes your ecommerce successful but marketing, sales and branding. Save money with no code and spent the rest on what actually drive sales.

    • @stevencravotta
      @stevencravotta  8 місяців тому +2

      Upwork has a pretty strict vetting process for freelancers and their portfolios. But again, I always recommend you take the 15 min call with them and you'll find out pretty quickly if they know what they are talking about or not.

    • @oivoodoo

      @@stevencravotta upwork doesn't verify portfolio items. it's better to have the call, fixed price task for the small amount and then hire using milestones (make them shorter as possible to see the progress because the freelancers could disappear). I have the profile as developer and the client in upwork. Now in upwork it's good amount of the profiles that was sold by their owners and definitely video call would help a lot.
