Переглядів 2,5 тис.6 років тому
Part 1 of 2 Outside door handle. This was done on the right rear door of a 2012 GMC SIERRA DENALI. I am sure that this is the same procedure on other trucks such as YUKON, TAHOE, SUBURBAN etc.

I was driving down the road to the auto parts store when I saw my friend hauling this Integra on the back of his flat bed tow truck and I immediately called him and asked him what he was going to do with it amd he said he was taking it to the scrap yard. I told him that I wanted it and he said that either the motor or the tranny was bad and I said I don't care just turn around and drop it at my...

How to fix any issues with your car
Переглядів 3710 років тому
Well I own a mechanic shop and I have a customer that has always issues with her car and she asked me what was my advice to solve her problem.so here it is...
Thank you for the information
It's very cool, how can I get such a cable? Can you help me?
Does it work for 2006 S
Link to buy ?
You hammered the ball joint out threw the bottom and then installed the new one threw the top!?!? Not good
Broooo thanks! Unlike the other vids I saw guys tearing off their dash and everything to get the whole radio out just to plug it, and all you did was one step!! He'll yea!
You need to give your buddy at 7:00 a pat on the buttocks for helping you out.
how can i get the door closed manually, (same issue you described) because i can’t see me tearing that thing apart without sometype of dash removal video. thanks
Is the 2012 Pathfinder driver side in a different place?
Where do I buy this
My 05 Nissan Pathfinder is blowing hot air on the driver's side when the AC is on. Which actuator might be the problem? I thought it was located in the driver's side above the gas pedal. You pulled it out of the passenger side. Thanks 👍
Thanks!
How the airbag came out. Mine seems to be welded to the cross bar
Is that the same actuator as the one on the bottom? Want to know if they are interchangeable.. Thanks
how long did it take you to take the dash off and put it back on?
About 20 to 30 minutes max.
@@9311michel really? That sounds like professional time. An occasional DIYer like myself might take double that.
only they mirror why complete??
What type of connector is needed to do this? I’m looking online, and to buy the specific mini adaptor it costs almost 150$.
Wow! Michel Fernald, you have found the most ingenious and simple way to do this for a wired aux cord installation I have ever seen so far.
Thank you. I am glad that this video helped you in some way.
Can this be done with out taking dash apart
Yeah if you can please send me that part number I'd really appreciate it cuz my dealership says I have no they have no idea what I'm talkin about brett1andonly66@gmail.com
Yes I'm just kind of curious what the part number is on that auxiliary cable I go to the dealership they told me they don't have a cable
Me too. Did you get the part number eventually? Pls share
Unbelievable, you have to take apart the entire dash to get to the blend door actuator. 🤦🏽♂️
FARRU
Me too . I pent 3 min as well . Thank you it is amazing, work perfect
Cable name?
l have a 2012 jeep compass and i have problem with suspension lower ball joint , i have to replace it , could you please share with me the refrence of the lower ball joint parts i need to buy two. thanks for helping me.
You are a true hero, thank you so much!
Does anyone know if a bad actuator could possibly prevent the A/C clutch from kicking in? There is a diagnostic test you can run on the climate control that will tell you if you have an error. Press Auto, then turn fan dial left while turning passenger temp either way at same time, press Auto again within 2 secs and it will run diagnostic.
A bad blend actuator will not make you a/c clutch stop working. Probably you are low in A/c gas. You can test the clutch by the self-diagnosis test. Open the driver door, turn the key to the On position, press 10 times the bottom at the door frame ( the one that tells you that the door is open or closed), turn the key to the Off position and back to the On position. You will hear the horn one time and then the car will start the self diagnosis. It check: rear defrost, Wipers, lights, ac clutch and ac fan.
@@brunogarciallanso504 Hi Bruno, yes, you are exactly right! After I replaced the blend door ac. I still had the same code. I can't remember if I discovered and ran the self-diag before or after this (which works great and the clutch did engage), but in the end I ended up jumping the clutch from the yellow wire terminal in the black terminal box (PDU?) And filled it a little with coolant. Thereafter, it engaged normally and the climate control and system all works fine. So, I'd say the low pressure sensor on this vehicle is very sensitive to a low pressure situation. Appreciate the help, thanks.
Dear Michel I have a similar problem with my nissan pathfinder but instead I have no air blowing out of vents. I tested the actuator by the driver's feet and the one on the passager's feet ,they seem to work.I believe it is the one which open or close the flap to let the air out, which is far into the dashboard. Can you explain how you remove the dashboard please ? many thanks for your help.Marc
Hi there, how do you disengage the passenger air bags?. I'm having the same issues and probably will need to replace that actuator.
i can’t get the panel open
Just did mine this way on a 2004 MINI base R50. I had to unplug the Navigation audio on my car (I don't use the NAV enough anyway). My maps are from 2012! This way is too easy...thanks!
Lol, $60 on ebay for both complete control arms with ball joints and only take 20 minutes per side to install
I know but when you have a customer that wants to get it done the same day you can't wait fays to get the parts. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Just replaced mine for the second time in 365 days lol, fucking jeeps, nothing spanks tires and ball joints worse than a jeep lol, but This 5 speed patriot stock height with bfg all terrains have put me everywhere I need to go and should have never gone without any issues besides ball joints tires and the typical shitbox patriot/compass manual transmission
thank you very much Michael for your video this is definitely the best way to install an auxiliary cable to a 2005 mini Cooper s again thanks a million
Lol. He went and took his daughters aux cord
Thanks for supplying the video. It helped me a lot and gave me the confidence to complete this task.
Nice Integra ls
You didnt mount a block ring on down of ball joint.
They don't come with the ball joints because they don't need one. Thank you for your comment.
@@9311michel just mount without blocking?
@@belvar8471 if you mean the SNAP RING? then yes.
Will this work on a 2005 Mini Cooper s?
It worked on mine. And it was a 2005 s
Michel Fernald thanks
Donde se compra eso?
Yo compre ese cable en el dealer pero tambien lo puedes comprar por amazon o ebay.
Como se llama el cable
How did the ball joint come out the bottom but ho in the top, am i missing something?
That is just the new design of the ball joints are now. You have to have the ball joint press tool. If you dont have it you can loan one from any autozone or Advance auto parts.

Unfortunately it didn't work for me.. I plugged it in, went smooth, I heard click etc but I am not able to switch the mode. It is still only CD and RADIO. I have a European version of a car but radio looks the same
@Lex yes I think so, no auxiliary option
I am sorry you went through all that trouble to find out that it doesn't work.
That's what I like to see, work harder not smarter.
I really hope that my video helped you in some way. I am sure you are being sarcastic but I know I did not do a great job at replacing the ball joints. Believe that I got a lot better at this hahahahahaha. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Bro I got the thing working but I cut my knuckle in the process the shit is TIGHT in there
Thank
I love this color :)
At night it looks very very nice
