My problem mostly is, that I am a full-time graphic designer during the day - and only after my work I am able to sketch/be creative. I often realize that I am then out of energy and grabbing the phone, looking through Insta/Pinterest or watching videos of other people doing art is so much easier... It's really sad and some times I am able to break this fatique cycle, but I would to do more. Anyway, I do other stuff too (dancing, playing an instrument), so my time is limited anyway. I thought I can bring myself to draw a little thing everyday since the beginning of the year, but I failed misserably. XD Anyway, I don't give up. Sometimes I really wish I have all my day to do what I like to do right in that moment. But hey, I will find my way. :) Thanks for this lovely video anyway, some really nice tipps!

What helps me most is watching youtube videos of other artists drawing and seeing their sketch become polished motivates me a lot!

Aww, poor girl. Sorry to hear this all happened to you. Yeah, i've been through my own bouts of pain over the years with cluster headaches. It was a stir of ignorance, poor sleep, pushing myself at art at the wrong time, and the whole grind culture that set it off. Thankfully, i made some changes and haven't experienced them in a long while. Pain. What a way to learn to listen to your body. Anyways, your art is looking lovely! Please take care!

I’m also as a comic artist participating in nanowrimo this year even though I don’t do a written outline but I outline by drawing each page on a miniature scale. I tried multiple times to do a written outline but it sucks out all the joy about the story for me because I want to experience what happens as it happens and be surprised myself 😂 also I feel like I get more ideas by seeing the scene instead of writing and reading it. My goal is to get my outline done this month 💪🏼🔥 I wish you and everyone a happy nanowrimo 💕

I still don't know what I am doing wrong. I matched your settings even lowering my tolerance but when I purposely used the lasso tool around the parts the wand tool missed, not trying to be super precise. It just followed the lines when I used the bucket tool. I really wanted to find a less stressful means to color different parts, but ...? idk

I've recently got into the series after watching it on UA-cam and I recently bought one of the graphic novels. The show's animation is very impressive. I dare say it's a lot better than most animation today and I do like the art style of the comic book.

I LOVE LUCID LUCY!!! really great art style (more of the cartoony type) has a great plot and you can find many references in each chapter, coming from all sorts like anime (eg. spirit away i think?) and recently the author has decided to make a new webtoon of a different story!

I can’t use the lasso tool to select only the salmon colors…at this rate, I’m going to spend hours to a day on a design because I can’t find an efficient way to color…

I've read what you posted on your Webtoon and I wish you the best for your health issues ! I'm kinda upset that Webtoon doesn't take care of their artists because this crazy buffer thing is their responsability too, I mean, when you're freelancing you should take care of yourself too but if only they offer you the chances! I hope your story continues to go well, In meantime it's a good idea to take notes for future ideas and write a novel why not, take care please n_n

Yes, I feel you! On top of drawing comic pages, there is sooo much more work. Currently, my priorities are promoting the print copy of my comic, working on growing my art blog, and developing my next comic. Even that feels like a lot.

The title sums it up perfectly! 👍🏻 Also, cool to see I'm not the only one who works on a gray canvas. It helps me feel less intimated than staring at a blank, white page. Also, it gives me a better feel of how the linework will actually look once the page is colored.
