uuugh. I cannot find a video that helps me. I go through this issue every time I assemble it and it takes almost an hour to get it to start. for me it's not the reset button. I think it's the way I have the blade in there. everything lines up but won't turn on. so annoying. I am regretting getting it.

I boil mine for 4 hours. Use pressure washer to get most of the stuff off of it. Use picks and other tools to get the rest. Then I mix up the 40 volume cream with the powder and paint it on. Let it sit 24 hours, wash it off and let it dry. Takes me about 2 days to get a head back to the customer.

@The-Arrowed-Artisan oh I agree. I'm not doing it full time. I do like 20 to 30 a season if that. Not knocking your way of doing it. I got nothing but respect. I was just saying that the way I do it has worked for me so far.

Thanks. My 8yo daughter got her first deer the other day. A medium 5. Went through all the trouble of stripping the skull. Was drying out after it's peroxide bath and the dogs managed to get ahold of it and destroyed the nose. Going to try and cutting the nose off of one of those fake skulls and adding it to this one. We were planning to hydro dip it already.

Get you some vinyl electrical tape, it sticks better and stays on better in the boil, they also make white electrical tape, you could try that

Very informative video! Wish I had found this before we started working on mine. We soaked the head twice with the horns still attached. We have now started the sanding of the horns. We have some questions and could really use your guidance and feedback if possible. This is a project that I am working on with my parents. Thank you

Thank you. This got me started after much frustration this morning after craving a glass of juice and a good example of why I despise this machine with such passion. Part of a good design is that you shouldn't need the manual to use it every time, or be the engineer of the machine to be able to figure out how all the many pieces go together. So user unfriendly in a way that people would never accept in any other household product . . . but for some reason they do accept in juicers.

Mine felt like it clicked into place and it still didn't turn on. Be aware of this. It may feel like it's good to go but it's not. Take both units off, assemble them together than place back on motor base, problem solved!
