New Update! You can now cancel online through their official webpage. My cancellation fee was only 10$
I’m a running start student at Olympic College, and I’m considering WWU for my bachelors. Do you know what programs they have that might be related to Criminology or Criminal Justice? Any related majors that they have that are similar? If so, do you have any helpful info on them? Thank you!
Hey there, I'm in the Udemy course you linked, did you actually do the Github and make code or just watch the videos? Thanks in advance!
Nice, and yes I downloaded the sample code and experimented with it. I find that playing with the code through trial and error is the best way for me to learn, alongside watching the videos. Hope it helps!
@@daniel.gallegos It does thank you
@logic2818 sure thing!
Did you have to do an interview? Onboarding one or just received an acceptance letter?
I didn't have to do an interview for the program, I simply got an acceptance letter.
So being that I have to pass this class in a short time, would you recommend only that 4 hour Udemy course that covers the basic frameworks and then jump straight into the project?
Good question and yes, that's my recommendation. Jumping straight into the project is great since there will likely be a good bit of trial and error that no amount of preparation will help for.
@@daniel.gallegos Thanks again Daniel. I just finished my OA for D286 and your other video you made for that course saved me a bunch of time by not wasting too much time reading all of ZyBooks and jumping straight to the 14 lab questions at the end of the book. Appreciate you very much, you've saved me a lot of time and headache good sir.
@@daniel.gallegos Thanks Daniel, I've gotten started, this course is probably one of the more disorganized I've come across in the BS Comp Science program, appreciate your guidance.
Data Structures and Algorithms is my sleep paralysis demon. I just found it the most memorization-heavy course, and I struggled. Overall I know it was one of the most important classes though.
Data Structures and Algorithms is my sleep paralysis demon. It was interesting but the most boring/just memorize course I've had at WGU.
How long did it take to get the email that the locations switched, or should you be able to cancel it immediately?
@arennbanks3025 for me it worked immediately. Any luck?
it is exciting to see the comments from other students on your videos

Thank you

Thanks Daniel you're awesome!
@@OEFTF11 aw thanks glad to help!
How long after you submitted your application did you find out that you were accepted?
@wesdaaawg for me it was within a month, so relatively quickly!
Appreciate all of your videos, DG- you're very good at this: crisp, to the point, thoughtful. Always apprecaite em each time I start a new one :)
Ah thanks so much!
Thanks man! Just got my certificate today and I had no idea how to add it on my linkedIn. Your video helps a ton <3

Thank you for this, I feel so much more confident about it. I'm taking mine on Monday. For me it's methods in general. I can read them and determine output but when it comes to writing them I choke.
@@queenkrool glad I could help! Good luck on it!
Hey, would you share your thoughts on why you took UT Austin's MSCSO instead of Georgia Tech's OMSCS?
No level of SQL knowledge, this class is making me crazy.
@@HagalUlfr good luck, you got it!
Omg thank you so much, youre a hero. ❤
What do you think the marketing program?
Is it hard? And is the class availability?, graduation time?
@kayrellouis9902 I don't have any personal experience with it and I didn't know too many people in the marketing program. But if it's under the business school, I'd feel good about the quality.
How the teacher, class availability’s? , and graduation time In wwu?
@@kayrellouis9902 I had a great experience with professors at WWU. Class availability for my majors was never an issue. I graduated a year early because I had college credits before attending WWU.
I’m in Texas and switched my home club to Whittier, CA. And it worked immediately!!! Thank you so much!!!
@@kayleegutierrez9686 awesome!!
This was a huge lifesaver man! Thank you!
Hi. I will be taking the exam on Monday. On the exam did you have to import the packages? And were there comments on the exam to guide you like it is on the pre-assessment?
@S.D.L-z6u when I took it you didn't need to import any packages and there were some comments to direct where to put your code. Good luck!
@@daniel.gallegos yes. It was indeed imported and commented. Thank you.

Greetings from Mukilteo! I'm stuck on the commit to start, I emailed my councilor but I haven't received a response in a couple days. Basically is it the "complete a questionnaire," "you and WGU?" etc? I went through those docs and the last module is "Claim Student Portal Account" but its grayed out.
Hello! Could you clarify where you are in the application process? Are you still considering WGU or have you already applied and are trying to navigate the enrollment portal?
this is so random but sick lol
@@MA-fh7ui haha thanks!
Congratulations on the acceptance! I am considering applying for the UT MSCSO and would like to connect with you on linkedIn ask some questions about your experience. I have tried searching but couldn't find you. It would be great if you could provide a link. I am currently working as a research fellow (QNNs) and interested in the intro to QC cause as well. Thanks !!
Thanks so much! Here's my LinkedIn, feel free to DM me any questions: www.linkedin.com/in/-daniel-gallegos/
How did you get the UT merchandise? Does the university send it to your address
UT didn't send anything to me automatically for getting accepted, I decided to buy it on their online store.
@@daniel.gallegos can you explain how exactly do they conduct proctored final exams and do all the courses have a final exam? also what is the difficulty level of assignments and exams. I got accepted into the data science program anything i should know before accepting my offer.
Hello! I am 25 years old and I have 25 classes to complete roughly 80 CU's, I dont have work experience but I am technically inclined and love technology NOT a mathmatician but I do love computers and technology. 3 of the 25 classes are Calc 1, DM1 AND DM2. How are the OA's and are the OA's multiple choice/matching or do you have to show your work digitally? How does that go about.
Hi, thanks for your thoughtful comment! The OA's for all three classes are multiple choice. You can use a calculator and whiteboard but you do not have to show your work to complete the exams. They take some time but are definitely doable. Good luck!
How did you get by the gpa 3.00 minimum requirement with wgu pass fail system? I’ve been looking forward to applying I’ve recently graduated with a cs degree from wgu thanks for the video. For your wgu degree did you have any study/sophia classes transferred and do you only need to send your wgu transcripts or do you send older schools transcripts that you never finished a degree in only attended?
Hi, great questions. Congrats on finishing your WGU program! UT has accepted people from WGU before so they understand that we don't have a GPA; the 3.0 GPA requirement is sort of waived since they see the competency model as sufficient. I did have some study.com courses but I didn't send any transcripts from study.com, just from WGU. I also finished all other school transcripts, both from programs I attended and from others I finished. Hope this helps!
Thanks for reply. Last question did they do an interview before your acceptance or after ? I know some schools do an interview
@@naevillarreal1052 No problem, feel free to ask more Q's. I did not have to do an interview for the program.

Ty. Why do they have to make it so hard.
No problem! Honestly, I think it's to discourage people from trying to cancel, that way they just keep paying the monthly fee :(
Why do you look like a brown spongebob?
Campus is harder's because you have to work 50 hours a week to make a living while studying. WGU is hard because you don't have your friend older brother that just pass the class giving you all the answer.
Thanks for sharing your perspective!
It totally worked thank you!
Thank you!
@@Sylvia-ly4wj no problem!
