    It seems that you had way more misses with the k tail than the mullets, i have had the same issue. It seems that if the fish aren't big enough or don't fully inhale it you will miss them on the k tail, even on the 4 inch. There is so much lure behind the hook that if they don't hit it perfect you aren't going to get a good hookup. I like the k tail action but so far my luck with it has been rough, i guess i just need to find bigger fish lol.

      I'm throwing the 4" bait on 40lbs and the 5" bait on 50lb leader. for knots i use loop knot, palmar or the trilene. Whichever pops in my head first.

    I know that fishery well from when I lived in Palm Harbor. Used to launch my kayak and throw topwater along the oyster bars, points and cuts. Lots of snook, reds and trout in the winter there. I now live on the Myakka... few reds and trout unless down in the harbor, but an amazing snook fishery down here too. Keep catching them! Great video!

    I'm not sure why everyone in FLA is obsessed with catching snook. They're clearly abundant and not difficult to catch. Everyone catches 35-40 in snook 🙄 The snook videos are just overdone. How about you guys go catch a monster trout. That's a real challenge.

    • @artificialslinger9730
      @artificialslinger9730 11 днів тому

      I'm not sure why you watch snook videos if that's how you feel 🤷🏽‍♂️. Have you actually ever caught a snook ? I'm assuming no. But as someone who's caught snook it's not as easy as trout fishing. Trout are about the dumbest and easiest fish to catch. Especially the big ones. This past Sunday alone I landed 50 trout in 3 hours and 7 of them were 24 to 27". ( For the record PB is 30" and plenty in the 27" to 29" ) You ever wanna come to Florida and try and catch some of these snook around this style of structure. We can do a friendly bet and put up one of my $1500 combos that you'll lose more the you'll catch. That being said there's just as much big trout video from the gulf coast ( if not more ) then snook fishing in Florida. And for the record snook is pretty much the inshore gamefish of the state Florida. Just like reds and trout are for Texas and Louisiana
