Im a winnipeger and full blooded Ojibwe man and This man is a hero! Hes also one of my personal heroes, I had a teacher who dictated a whole study block for us to copy...I held on to that notebook for years, It wasnt just the circiculum but his thoughts too...He instilled something in me and taught me much about the great Riel. I was also born in St boniface.

UNDRIP has defined in the ANNEX what INDIGENOUS isn’t... Not what it is .. I am on the Blood Reserve , I see the words of this document being overlooked , but are the KEY words ... The typical meaning of Indigenous ISNT the same please hear me!!! The second paragraph in the ANNEX it says “ (Affirming)( that indigenous peoples )(are equal )(to all other peoples, )(while recognizing )(the right of all peoples )to be different, to consider themselves different, and to be respected as such. READ that NATIVE PEOPLE and the rest of you!!!! The UN is trying to divide and conquer!! So pay attention to the ANNEX words... paragraph 3-4... (Affirming )also that all peoples contribute to the diversity and rich- ness of civilizations and cultures, which constitute the common heri- tage of humankind, (Affirming further)( that all doctrines, )(policies )(and practices)( based on or advocating )(superiority )(of peoples )(or individuals )(on the basis )(of national origin )(or racial, )(religious, )(ethnic or cultural )(((differences are racist, )))(((scientifically false, )))((legally invalid, ))(morally condemnable)( and socially unjust,) DO YOU READ the WORDS!!! After these very AFFIRMATIVE words the rest of the document and it’s claims ARE : Legally invalid .. the native lawyer or native peoples according to the second paragraph CANNOT claim themselves to be indigenous peoples, more important then any other group of people’s !!! Why ?? Read it paragraph 4 They would be advocating they are Superior.... based on any of these ((criteria )) advocating(( superiority ))of peoples or individuals on the basis of (national origin )(or racial, )(religious, )(ethnic )(or cultural )differences ((are racist)) ((, scientifically false, )) ((legally invalid, ))morally condemnable and socially unjust, The belief that Canadian indigenous in its traditional use of that word will come and take your lands its a FEAR tactic.. INDIGENOUS according to this UNDRIP are those who Do NOT Align with these :: national origin or racial, religious, ethnic or cultural differences I don’t know if any will not see themselves in one or more then one of these categories.... especially for the “traditionally “ “termed “ indigenous Canadian.. but when we say we are one of these things according to the ANNEX : WE ARE RASIST , LEGALLY INVALID.... read the words... yes , it’s an agenda by the UN , it’s called (EVERY One) will own NOTHING .. and we will ALL Be Happy!! The great reset.. This document even uses the phrase “ GOOD FAITH “ in fulfillment .” I read that and I laughed.. Really?? Good Faith!! Fact : Blood tribe, of Southern Alberta WON a huge “lands “claim that would should have give each native band member the up words of $70,000 each ...but the Canadian Government is Appealing that WIN, WHY?? They are trying to pass this Bill C -15 and implement UNDRIP.. so the government can then say... “ Your an indigenous peoples , advocating as a group.. sorry, your not (superior) to any other people’s!! Just based on those few paragraphs in the ANNEX of the UNDRIP Document.. id like to see anyone organizing themselves Not under those categories the UN and BIll C 15 have defined as RASIST .. you can’t!! Bruce Dumont Destroyed MY life in 2003 at the end of Red River Rendezvous in Malahat because he saw me as a threat of taking his Job as President of MNBC with Miss information about me! RCMP were involved after Bruce along with Ed Shaw of Nanaimo Chapter charged at me and Bruce ended up going for a short flight in the air and a tumble to the ground! I was on paid contract as Mid Island Nanaimo Chapter Elected Vice President for a Cultural Week with Bruce and at first was very excited to meet him at the Duncan Motel where the contract was to begin in July 2003! I had just returned from Winnipeg doing Genealogical Journey of my own bloodline/family tree that goes right back to contact in the 1500’s in York Factory Manitoba! Bruce was an asshole to me at first sight ! He wasn’t friendly at all and frankly a fucker! I bit my tongue with respect he was president of mnbc and out ranked me in the MNBC political ranks! During my stay at his home in Black Creek near Campbell River one night we had a moment where I thought we could be friends! But that doin diminished when youth group took off! Without knowing this I went for a walk down a path clearing my head of all the activity and simply ran into them first and we were all walking to the house then Bruce and wife Joanne pull up In they’re truck and accuse me of taking of with them as they’re ring leader! Strike one..I tried to explain but they wouldn’t listen..I just wanted to leave but my girlfriend at the time Diana reminded me we needed the money for the contract so I stayed! A decision that haunts me 17 years later! Then the next day as the youth were packing to leave one of the fools grabbed up Bruce’s black powder long gun and jammed the triggering mechanism as Bruce was loading the truck! I was asked if I could help.. I should have said no but I said sure I’ll see if I can assist! As I was looking for the problem! Guess who comes around the corner and sees me with his gun! Bruce!!! He said what the fuck are you doing with that?! Snatching it out of my hands.. I tried to explain...again shot down in flames and stormes into hos house to bitch to his wife about me! I said fuck this.. I left to cool off for the long trip down island in my own vehicle where I had my own independence and self determination thinking these fuckers call me from Hornby island begging me to be a part of they’re Metis Cultural Days in Malahat fish and Game club and treating me like this,,,I was furious! Here I was 33 years old being treated like a 14 year old kid! But it was still strike two with Bruce Dumont! I had to make it right so I worked my face off putting t-pees up and fulfilling my contract transporting elders from parking lot in my own car using my own fuel up and die. The hill all day for two days! Then comes Grand Entry where I put in my wolf pow wow regalia that I earned on the First Nations Pow Wow circuit where I had respect! Then Bruce comes my way and sees me and I said let’s bury the hatchet of any hard feelings and dance together as MNBC Provincial President and MNBC Mid Island Vice President! He abruptly said No Sir..I will not walk or Dance with you wearing that and walked away to the media circus and mnbc brass behind me! I was devastated! Then as I was about to say fuck it all I saw a little boy in his powwow regalia so I bit my tongue once again and found myself behind the horses ass watching the little boy as we walked and danced to lift my head and look across the field and listen to that Fucker..MNBC President play it up for his peers and media while feeling like a piece of shit he just wiped off his heel! The day wore on and I went back to my camp at the foot of the hill where he was ontop with his wife Joanne who had the cheque for my contract and Earl Belcourt! I packed my car but pup tents were still up and I went up the hill to confront Bruce Dumont in front of Everyone! I said to Earl Belcourt..Where’s Dumont?! He says he’s around the corner of building so that’s where I found him. I said you hmhot a minute and he walked towards his peers snd said what do you want? I said I got Beefs,,He said ...well Beef! And then I put him in my cross hairs of just how I was feeling about my experience with the Youth taking off at his place and how I was blamed how I was Also blamed for his gun and how he treated me the second he met me at Duncan Motel 2nd floor balcony and how he just treated me like shit at Grand Entry and I’ll see him around as mid island VP and I’ll be looking into auditing him after I go through filing cabinet at Mid Island Metis HQ across from Nanaimo RCMP & it may get Crimminal then I simply turned to walk down the hill back to my camp and started to take down my tents then all the sudden my ex girlfriend shows up and says I’m not leaving because I’m under contract until the job is done! I said I have the cheque and I’m leaving now! She said no your not then proceeded to grab car keys out of ignition and I said give those back it’s my car not yours I’m leaving and she went to throw them in the nearby deep pond where I blocked the keys from flying and they bounced off y hand onto the dirt ground! The. We both dove for the keys and a mad scramble..I won by getting the keys in my hand but unknown to me we were behind the car but from the top of the hill and 100 meters away it could have looked as though we were having a scuffle which wasn’t the case! Then here comes Bruce Dumont as the hero with his stooge Ed Shaw from my Clan in Nanaimo and some polish wanna be Mark Wasiswski something or other...first came Bruce full speed trying to tackle me! I saw him comming so I hooked my arm into his put my hip out and woooooop there he went flying and then tumbling into one of my tents and as he tried to Pick himself up then I’m facing Ed Shaw..I said Ed you know me back off you don’t know what is happening here let me explain ..before I could Bruce says to Mark call RCMP as I was explaining to Ed who didn’t want to here it then Joanne comes running to comfort my ex Prussian girlfriend Diana who played victim when she want even hurt at all only bruised she didn’t get to throw my keys in the pond and because Joanne Dumont works fir BC Ambulance there was an ambulance waiting ! I stood there at my car looking around at the situation and cop sirens were screaming closer! I knew they were comming for me and I was given a court date and lost my girlfriend and later my post as VP Mid Island Metis! My name was mud and I had to leave the island and move to Mount Currie and over a year had to deal back and forth with courts from 2003 to 2005 on the matter where I had had enough and left the province to Alberta and brought back by bc sheriff to serve 90 days for breach of Probation! I served jail time for Bruce Dumont and His Wife Joanne Dumont and 18 years later they can still Fuckoff and Die! Bruce Dumont also stymied my attempts to work with MNBC Finance Minister Dan Pope regards to my Business Inter-Global Connections regards to Aboriginal Tourism and abruptly called Dan away while we were meeting in the Bar Lounge at the Kelowna Delta Grand Hotel during AGM! Check your minute records because during that time when I was flown in as a delegate I seconded Bruce Dumont’s Motion just to piss him off in front of Everyone and making sure Michael Dufrane 2nd a few Motions on the floor they were dear to go’s political heart while dealing with BC Gov! Bruce with his wife Joanne have embezzled millions of dollars from MNBC Coffers with help from his paid off minions and hid it in sub companies like Dumont tire in Sooke and other family guised business! Bruce Dumont is a Fraud..a Mutt and a Criminal who saw me comming and only saw as an upstart that could hurt his game and I was seeing through it! He couldn’t hdd as be it snd I had to be distracted and dealt with! Well Bruce..like you..I’m BCMetis and Still here and I wish you nothing but the worst experience and hope you Die a Terrible Death! Fucker! I still have a mind to force an audit on your ass and follow the money and see how dirty you. Your wife and crew really are! I f add not think I’ll ever get over it but at 51! Well done Daniel, you have taken on a great task moving us forward with compassionate leadership. I hope the Board is Equally as motivated to move the Nation forward for all Metis in BC. It takes commitment and integrity to change, it takes time for staff to be brought up to speed and provide quality service to our people. Your message is one of hope, a movement to appreciate all that is in the interest of our Metis People. The Metis are respected ...but not included, Mr Sullivan has pointed out the neglect and non-inclusion in all gov funding models and consideration to date of METIS peoples, ACCORD is a stalling tactic in moving forward.........1/3 Indigenous people - recognized in Charter... Michif in the Schools....obvious the Gov has paid only limited service. GET on With it., fusdning ,recognition,acknowledgement of Charter rights.
