Knife Making - Forging Damascus Kitchen Knife
Hi, in this video I will be making a random pattern damascus kitchen knife. As you'll see in the video, this is my first attempt at doing damascus from a billet of sawblade and 15N20. I made the handle from red stabilized wood with hidden pins, which turned out amazing imho.

Hi guys, I have been away from knife making for a while. The reason is because I was building a power hammer and the summer was unbearably hot, but im back. This is my first attempt at a San Mai knife. It didn't forge weld all the way, but I decided to finish the knife and keep it for myself. I hope you enjoy the process. Knife Making Forging Chain Damascus Bowie

In this video I tried to make a damascus knife for the first time. I found the timing chain at the scrap yard and wanted to give pattern welding a shot. I failed at making the rivets weld togethe, but I decided to finish the knife anyway and keep it as a souvenir for my first damascus attempt. The cast brass also had inclusions, but the end resuld is not too bad. If you like this video and simi...

In this video I made a knuckle/fighting knife. I wanted to try something new, so I etched the blade dark but left a polished "hamon" on the bevel. I also decided to make the scales out of brass that I casted. This knife was an art project and will only be used as decoration. Knife Making | Hidden Knife From Scrap

Hello guys, in this video I made a hidden knife in an imitation bamboo sheath and handle that I carved. I made the whole knife black and was also thinking of cold blueing the knife but decided on a polished finish eventually. I also added a brass spacer. In this video I made a camping knife from scrap. The boltsters are made from mild steel and were a bit tricky to get right. All around I must say this is my favourite knife till now. In this video I made a Bushcraft knife. I wanted to give it contrast between the handle and blade, so I ended up making the scales myself. Knife Making | Making a Hunting Knife

Hey guys, in this video I'm making a hunting knife with scrap leaf spring. I wanted to try a hamon, but it didn't work out and etched the knife just dark. I liked the look of the knife so I went with it and left the scales light to create some contrast. I will try a hamon again in the future. Knife Making | Making a Dagger From Scrap

This week I decided the make a dagger from a concrete spike. I wanted to make a medieval style dagger, and I think it turned out quite nice. I especially like the way the fluted handle turned out. Definitely not a bad result for a first ever dagger. Hey guys, in this video you will see me making a small tanto like knife from a bolt I found in the scrap, You will notice I didn't heat treat it, thats because I will not use this knife. I learned the hard way that forge welding thin wide and long billets is bad idea. In most cases it loses it's heat very fast when you put it on the anvil the bottom layer is no longer at forge welding temperature. Using thick pieces and then forging them thin after the weld is better idea. Also - the bimetal hacksaw blade is some sort of medium carbon steel with around 0.4 - 0.5% C and it will harden , but is not the best for cutting edge. The 15n20 piece will be harder and more wear resistant. Anyways it was fun video , good luck with your vchannel and your work. You made awesome power hammer.
