My car is doing this i need help

My motor mount's bad

on a 2017 MB G63 AMG, it torqued right off the mounts and tore off the coolant lines, overheated the engine, melted all the gaskets and the waterpump. it sucked.

If you get in your car and feel a heavy vibration and rough idle it’s most likely usually a motor mount.

That's not a bad motor mount. That's just a raw 205 horses being let loose. Nothing a little bubble gum mixed with JB weld won't fix 😂 maybe a couple zip ties and a little super glue

LOL. Mine was like that except there was a huge bang.. Both the front and rear mounts were broken on 1 side. All fixed now Ps I knew it was bad when I accelerated and it changed gear with that huge thump noise. Once or twice I had people looking at me from the footpath / sidewalk . It was that loud.

That's just the horsepower trying to escape 😂

Yup, my 2020 sierra 6.2 is getting the drivers side replaced today.

Brake torqueing is the easiest way to find out

Bought this used car 2 months ago and the mounts are so bad the RPMs fluctuate so drastically... called the mechanic shop I go to and got a $600-700 estimate. For an $80 price for a engine+transmission mount I'll do it myself😂

Just did mine on the same kinda truck. Remove the stupid heat shield off the new mount.
