Do you dry them first or you give them fresh?
here fro garissa, wajir ukambani kenya...lets discuss this wakenya
I fed my goats with those spikes and after some months some goats became sick and died I also read that those spikes affect the stomach. Unless you burn the spikes off before feeding
Hay Does it affect the test of milk or meat ?
Look beautiful sheep..😊🎉😊😊
Will try this in Rwanda 🇷🇼
Pathetic way of working
Milk tastes like light milk when you feed them that
What is the nutritional value of Cactus?
Can you also feed this to Pigs?
Yes. Also to sheep, goats, chickens and camels.
Beautiful ❤
Standardization: After separation, the milk's fat content may be adjusted to meet specific requirements. For example, whole milk typically contains around 3.25% fat, while low-fat or skim milk contains less.
Whats the name of this farm? Please must tell this.
🎉
Good jobs bhai
i love it
These Brazilians are backward. They should be fermenting the cactus with yeast to increases the normal 4% protein content to 38% after six hours. The yeast totally dissolves the thorns.
What about the thorns?
The thorns should be singed off with a blow torch while the pads are still attached to a standing plant.
They are goats man.
Any health issues with the animals eating the spikes
Amazing.
Can you supply seeds or pads for planting or give contact information of who can supply.
Look up DryGrow Foundation
@@andybarr6751 thanks.

Do the glochids need to be removed first? Or do the pads just need to be chopped up?
most use spinline and if they don't you can burn it off.
Those are not goats, don't they know these are cows?
Oops, wrong cut & paste of the title. Fixed now, thanks a lot!

What does cactus fed goat cheese taste like?
Please let me know what are uses of it to giving dairy cattle 🙏
For dairy cattle it is advisable to under go a yeast fermentation for six hours prior to feeding. Normally, the cactus only has 4% protein content. The yeast transforms it to a protein content of 38%. Can you use a cheap feed with high protein content for your dairy cows?
@@estebancorral5151 can you give a bit more information please? I'm from SA, and I'm very serious about some fodder for our terribly dry summers. How do you ferment, how do you do it, what yeast strain do you use?

Would be ok as long as it's organic farm residue as commercial farms use Tons of herbicides and pesticides. This would be consumed by the cattle and in turn enter our food chain, not good.
