This is wild. I was never top 5 in the world...obviously, but I was a pretty good Wrestler(still not top 5 in the World...though the US). I remember, the biggest match of my life...and I said this to my Coach after, I was in College, NCAA Finals, I got scored on and I'm losing and I go out of bounds, come back up, look at the crowd and just vividly remember thinking, "Man, this is awesome, 17,000 people," and then just got back to it. Scored late and won. Now he's talking about the best in the world, whatever, I think he's making a larger point about the power of positive thinking and in THAT case...I never thought about it in the terms he did, but I can relate to that in that ONE example.

Is it weird I noticed this exact same thing when beating mario tennis on the hardest setting as a kid. If I was raging, I was not likely to win the match but when I laughed off any bad plays and didn't fight the process I started winning much more.
