So glad you upgraded your hammy cage!! I would recommend more bedding at least 8 inch, an 8 inch wheel so they don’t bend their back, more enrichment and more natural clutter! Also your stunning🤩🤩

Great start!! :) I’d suggest really scattering the seed mix all over the house, I sprinkle it all around, rather than make little piles, I don’t even have a food bowl in my enclosure anymore, I’ll put one in if I give a little baby food or something like that but otherwise no food bowls lol. The foraging for the food is super beneficial to them :) Also personally I’d ditch the water bottle for water bowl :) it’s more natural drinking position and easier to clean. I also wouldn’t do pellets personally I just do seed mix, I like to use bunny nature and then I add an extra 30 grams of meal worms for more protein and my guys nice and happy and healthy. He gets 1-2 meal worms daily. If he gets another protein source I’ll give him just 1 meal worms but normally 2 a day lol. And dwarfs are from dessert so def add more sand in the tank :) Cute baby hamster and cute cage set up!! Good luck have fun with your new pet! :) ❤
