Moving to Japan: First Time Climbing Mt. Fuji | Japan Summer Weekend Travel Vlog
In this video, I take you through my adventure-filled weekend in Japan! I climbed Mt. Fuji via the Gotemba trail, known for being the longest but least crowded path. The sunrise view was spectacular! After the hike, I stayed at my first traditional ryokan. I also explored the beautiful Small village of Oshino Hakkai and visited a scenic Fuji view spot. To top it all off, I enjoyed Fuji-Q Highland. Join me as I share my experiences and tips for anyone planning a similar trip.

      Yes! It’s a great way to make some friends. It was my plan to meeting locals as well. Just make sure to actually go to lessons and not just open pole. It’s way easier to connect with people during lessons.

      To be honest I just googled it, there are a few big share house platforms in Tokyo that will come up right away. I recommend googling share houses in the neighborhood you are interested in. The platforms usually have a lot of convenient filters like price and room types.

    The best thing about cheap accomodations is how they motivate you to get out and see Tokyo. Id certainly be inside as little as possible.. I love how they have looser building codes to allow for compact cheap living there. You dont see that here.

    • @RenaExplores
      @RenaExplores 3 місяці тому

      That’s so true, these kind of accommodations definitely get you out the door and exploring. I was most surprised to find out that some apartments don’t include a bathroom, those are even cheaper.

    • @SmokeandSpirit
      @SmokeandSpirit 3 місяці тому

      @@RenaExplores Wow so They just have a single bathroom for the building or per floor? We in the western world really aren't accustomed to sharing on that level. Lol.

    • @RenaExplores
      @RenaExplores 3 місяці тому

      @@SmokeandSpirit Yeah sometimes for the whole building, usually there aren't too many units though. Not having a shower in-unit is something that happens as well, since people can rely on public bath houses.

    • @RenaExplores
      @RenaExplores 3 місяці тому

      I think it was about 10k USD because I knew that I it would take some time before I could work. But it really depends on your expected expenses. Language school is not cheap as well. But the price of living could be quite affordable, depending of the lifestyle you want of course.

    Hey! I've been using wani kani as well. Really enjoy it. Ive been on it for several months now. I'm in lesson 8, which im sure is way behind you as I understood nothing on your laptop screen 😅. I feel a bit loppsided now: I'm a much stronger reader than listener, but hopefully that changes as I learn more verb conjugation and stuff. Thanks for the video! Might look into language school myself, but for now, my wife and I are taking our first visit there in this summer possibly.

    Looks like a bit more polished old UA-cam video, actually edits them, voice overs, camera quality because of technology is actually decent other than video stabilization which makes it look like a normal person filmed and edited something to share with the world rather than being a full time job. Definitely something that more people would appreciate in their home feeds.
