The idle sound of the IAE's from the front of the FSLabs version sounds more realistic. But the spool up sounds on the Fenix better and when you are looking from the back of the engines when idling they sound perfect on the Fenix like in real life. I have all 3 Fenix planes and the Idle sound is verry quite especially when FSLTL is working. When the Inibuilds A300 PW4000 engines are ideling you can't hear any other plane near also with FSLTL on.
LOL... this comparison is way too unfair
Fenix fan for life... ❤
Hello guys. As described, I am only concerned with an objective comparison of the capabilities of the two addons. Test.exe, malware or other topics from the past are not the topic. Please note this. I will remove any comments, as they are not effective.

Why release A321ceo when we already have a fantastic Fenix out there???? FsLabs should have made A321Neo, that would bring them good sales figures in MSFS.
FsLabs is simply not better. MEL is just the only upper hand which I think will come to the fénix now
I like the fslabs engine startup sound but fenix is more realistic sound
Just FYI thats engine 2 you showed and not 1. Engine 1 is on the port side (left). It makes a different for this aircraft since the hydraulics exanple green are dependent on engine 1
@@denziiey Yes of course, its engine 2. My fault. But I think, for a sound comparsion it doesn't matter.
@MrEmbargo1985 true

In my opinion the sound of the Fenix is more accurate. This high pitch sound (like the sound that the tires of a semi produce when it’s driving on the highway, at sec 4:46) of the FSlabs 321 is in my opinion not that accurate. But maybe it’s just a bit too loud or anything.
The maintenance and fault system seems to be the only advantage FSLabs has right now. Even if their indications and flight model could be more accurate, when both are so close to authentic does it really matter? FSLabs should have gone for the A330 or 787.
Exactly most of their fanbase don't wanna hold them accountable. They should've done the NEO then gone to the A340 or A330
or 320 neo
Or the A340
Yeah FSLabs should have gone for a NEO, there isn't a study level version of the A320neo family. I have the Fenix, I love the fenix, the FSL a321 costs nearly as much as both the Fenix A320 and the 319/21 expansion. No reason to buy it
Fenix is just perfect
The CFM and IAE from FsLabs are much closer to reality than those from Fenix. And yes, I can judge that because I work with aircraft almost every day
@@s34x You're the first I've read say that being in the industry. Everyone else I've read in the industry says the Fenix has more accurate sounding including airbus pilots.
@GeminiJets37 he's probably referring to the numerical calculations. Regardless though Fenix is a better value because I already own it.
@@s34xrealistic in what regard?
@@s34xdo you work for fslabs by any chance

I did not notice just how bad FSlabs is until you put it up against a far superior product
FSLabs must be the winner here, it probably has some clickme.exe file somewhere which improves performance by 10x. Not just of the aircraft, but of the entire PC.
Do they both have IAE and CFM?
@@brosaviation Yes, they have.
@@MrEmbargo1985Could you also make comparison with the CFM engines?
@ Yes, its work in progress.
❤ Fenix all the way
The FS labs reminds me of Plastic a bit and the issues of the past, I’m staying on my Fenix
Great sounds. 😍😍
dlss terrible graphics.
The Fenix have better quality modeling,Fenix A320series have most accurate restoration of the Real A320.
Cool
The FSLabs A321 logo is very off at 0:46.

Can the MCDU be transferred to a tablet like Fenix ?
@@Petercrossed yes it’s possible.
I would by anything Fenix puts out. Fenix is at the top for aircraft. Does anyone know what is next for them? A350? A340 ? Gulfstream? Maybe ? lol
@@talking2388 I think Fenix developing on a Neo as well.
I'm more than happy with the whole Fenix fleet. Don't regret it any moment. One of the best payware addons ever for flight simulation.
FENIX is and will stay my choice just because I won't support devs that used to install malware with their products. PERIOD!
Ok one thing I noticed: The fenix textures have that grainy layer. You can observe it quite well at 6:21. Does someone know what that is? Is that maybe part of pbr textures?
Hi there. I made the Fenix livery shown here. Figured I would provide some insight on this. These are my own, independent comments; I'm not speaking on behalf of Fenix or anyone else; this is from my own experience. What you're seeing is my intentional Silver Mica paint effect. N167AN is a silver mica aircraft. When American Airlines introduced their new livery in 2013, they purposely added mica paint flakes that reflect in light to their livery (similar to paint flakes you'd see on a car paint job). They opted for this so their aircraft could continue to shine and reflect, somewhat similarly to how their previous 'bare metal' tribar livery would shine in light. Unfortunately, a mica paint layer adds weight and unnecessary complexity-especially whenever a replacement part had to be put onto the aircraft, they often didn't match and made the aircraft look in poor condition-and they've begun removing it when aircraft come in for repainting and for newer deliveries (this is called Silver-Eagle). Here's a link from American Airlines explaining it with pictures: news.aa.com/news/news-details/2021/Going-Green-with-Silver-Eagle-FLT-01/default.aspx This also highlights limitations with livery creation and texturing in general. The pixel density required to simulate individual paint flakes at the frequency I'd like would require astronomically large texture sheets that aren't possible or practical in MSFS. So, I have to have this 'grainy' mica effect that's larger than what the real-world aircraft actually has, but my philosophy when repainting is: I'd rather have the correct marking, stencil, or whatever in a slightly lower quality but true to the real-world airframe than not having it at all. Very few artists, at least that I've noticed, tend to actually include the different paint options with American Airlines. I have both the Silver Mica and Silver Eagle variants available for the Fenix.
Im disappointed in the community for being so childish. Guys, there is nothing to discuss here. You like one more than the other? Great. But dont start bashing each others choice. Its stupid. One enjoys fslabs for his/her reasons, the other prefers fenix. So what?
You are comparising a place holder?! The FS Labs Cabin is not finished- so be fair.
@@gemutlicherbar7263 Yes, I do that because it’s what you currently get for $70. If anything changes, we can make a new comparison. That’s why the version numbers are also included in the introduction, to avoid any misunderstandings.
And, fslabs had been developing the Airbus for MSFS for a some time, but the Fenix reached much further in a shorter time compared to what fslabs could, and it's cheaper. I think that says a lot.
The modern state of accepting/giving a break to $70 unfinished products is ridiculous. Fair comparison
@@eduardobonadio7581 :D unfinished. Well unfornatley there is no need for a cabin at all. Its about the flight systems and the cockpit. "Unfinished" is today nearly every product. But they do not call it ea - the build up on it with updates. Merry Xmas, Friend
Yeah - It'll be Fenix for me then. Once MSFS24 gets more stable I'll be buying the Fenix. Unsure what the FSLabs team thought, it's a good aircraft but in direct comparison to Fenix it's inferior, they could have developed an A330 or A340 and would have secured a good market for themselves.
Especially the A340
I guess it depends on your system. Fenix, even in experimental, is working great for me.
@@denziiey The A340 is an interesting aircraft but it's too rare nowadays. Only a few airlines still fly them and those airlines only use them on a handful of flights. The A340 was always overshadowed by the 747 because of its capacity and performance. It could technically fly further but sacrificed too many other things to do so. An A330 would be better and allow for more variance if you wanted to simulate real world flights.
@@robbyyant6213 Some people don't go all out on realism and fly airlines that usto operate aircraft or aircraft that aren't used on real world routes. An a340 would be loved by many
Textures and 3d is better in fslabs
it's surprising how little effort they put to compete in that area, fslabs systems and FM are top notch, but even with the issues the default planes have, visually the default ini A320 and 21 have them beaten by a mile
FSL ARE A EMBARRASSING
Well I won’t be getting the fslabs
fenix for alot of reasons, best bang for the buck you can probably find for a airliner, better quality, and more,
fsl too late for the party
3D model/texture wise fenix is way better than fslab
The bit lack of wing flex on FSLabs mostly seals it for me to stick with Fenix..
2:19 FSlab close shot , Fenix long shot ,why?
No particular reason.
@MrEmbargo1985 ok , i think fenix 3d modeling and texture better
Imo the fslabs MCP panel and center pedastal (and pratically everything else excluding the overhead) looks more like asobo texturing in contrast to the fenix, it's the same with the lights just seems exactly like asobo's MCP panel lights. I find it really weird and I don't know if it's just me.
why use such a mad res livery for the fenix
FSLabs have already disgraced themselves once. They don't have a second chance.
Slow down the side by side man...can't even see it
You know you have a spacebar right ?
@ What does that have to do with the break neck speed of the video examples?
@@JM1701ABCD well you can pause it when they are side by side
Ofcourse Fenix.
Ngl I really like the FSL PFD
Even if FsLabs was a million times better i still wouldn't touch that company with a 1000ft barge pole. Fenix all the way thank you.
can you compare the sounds?
Yes it is planned.
