What’s up, I’m Chance and I’m using UA-cam to document my passion with turning wrenches.
If you guys get a kick out of watching my video, leave some tips for me so i can get better at recording.
I’m a BMW nut so that’s primarily what I will be covering.

The Camry runs!!
You all have spoken so I went ahead and cleaned the interior of the Camry. This is one hell of a car. The engine is simple and extremely durable.
After finishing this project, the customer couldn’t help but drive the car himself before giving it too his niece 😂

Sitting for 3 years!! Bringing back this dead Camry for a veteran!
Переглядів 62 тис.4 місяці тому
This Camry had been sitting with a blown head gasket for 3 years. The owner couldn’t get it fixed without spending too much money or having a bad mechanic so I gave decided to give him a quote. He agreed but I’m cleaning the car at no extra cost as a surprise. The car is for his niece so it should be a great first car. Should I detail the inside also? Let me know what you guys think in the comm...
Turbo 328i rebuild pt. 2 the tear down. This thing had over 200k!

Tearing down the motor while giving a good glimpse into a shade tree mechanic. On further inspection, I found piston #1 was cracked at the first and second compression ring. Also, the head gasket was leaking in between two water jackets. I will be going with head studs and a thicker gasket on rebuild. #bmw #e46 #automobile #turbo #rebuild #teardown #m52

Thanks for checking out my video! Please consider subscribing! @rocketcityclassiccars3969 Restoring this 740li takes a lot of work. This video shows just a small portion of what goes into flipping old cars. This 7 series was quite neglected and will need much more work. I’ll have more coming soon! Ask any questions in the comments, I’ll be happy to answer. #restoration #detailing #bmw #e38 #aut...

Nice job bro! Yeah one of the pitfalls of having cloth interiors is that everything has to be shampooed. I did a Camry like that once. I think it was a 2008, and it was a lot of work. Took me several days to completely transform the entire interior.
If it were me, personally, yes absolutely I would detail the car inside and out and get everything mechanically sorted and running and whatever else you may ever wanna do from there before you part ways with the car. Realistically you are giving it away which is extremely generous and kind of you, God Bless you for doing that! But I'm assuming this person who you're giving the car to has some sort of physical disability or medical condition that limits their levels of capacity to some degree, so do keep that in mind as well. That said you're free to do as much or as little as you like with the car. But it seems like at this point you're pretty much all in. Which is awesome!!!

It been sitting since 2021??
Admire the work! Wish I had a neighbor like you! 😂
Well done sir. My 95 ss was in similar shape when I started
Leave a way we can support you to keep doing this!
Good job man I will keep supporting!!!
Great job!!!!! Keep doing it, love to see more videos.
Our 2005 Toyota Camery has been such a good car. It has over 324.000 miles on it and it starts up and gets us from point A to point B everyday. 😊
Awesome straight forward content!!! Great work. Just subscribed
,😂😂😂I know that sound, she sounds like my 02 toyota camry le 2.4 4cylinder
God bless you.
New subscriber after watching the two videos on this car. Well done!
New subscriber here….You should get a drill brush attachment for your screw gun instead of hand scrubbing. As you get older your body will thank me. Looking forward to more philanthropic, transformational videos. I think the algorithm sent me here bc of detail geek and wd detailing…..your niche of philanthropic repair and detail will set you apart. What you’re doing for the average joe is what I want to see. I don’t care about that rich boomer that let his arsenal of cars sit in a barn for 30 years, the person that has 5 digit disposable income to restore a car so they detail it first or the lease repos/returns where they destroyed the car.
@@carstruckmidnght this is gold! Thank you for the feedback! My view is that older cars should be kept on the road. All of my cars are 06 and older but they run like new. Thanks for watching!
Sounds like a bridge-ported rotary engine when you started her up! 😂
Great attention to detail , and dedication to getting the job done right !
Great transformation! Great demonstration of what anyone can do with no special equipment, just some water, car wash detergent, a brush, and some good old elbow grease.
Spray the underbody with WoolWax. Paint body with farm tractor paint to be fancy, or just roll on bed liner. Actually, I think the farm truck look that it has is great. What about using the Poppys Patina clear coat look? Yeah, fix up the passenger door jam and the floor pan rust holes, and the bucket seat cover. Keep it running and stopping, then everything else is make up and rouge.
Thanks! I want to coat the underbody and bed but I need to take care of the rust. I may just dump the whole body in a chemical bath to be sure.
car is looking good man i hope you enjoy every mile you put on it, which will be many
You have a good heart bro. Subscribed.
He did a good job! On the interior
Thank you for posting this aww
What are you using on your drill to polish the lights?
So the harbor freight polisher has a polishing pad. After using 3000 grit, I use the polishing pad with either water or polish compound. If you use compound, it’s important to clean and degrease before clear coat.
awesome work!
Need more people like you , great job !
Good job dude!
Maybe use a steamer .
Yea I have a carpet steamer that I may try out but I definitely need a commercial steamer and a pressure washer lol
Absolutely amazing!!!!!
This generation of Camry is really starting to grow on me. I HATED them when they came out, thought the tail was all tall and fat. Now, I really appreciate the simplicity. Would love to own one as a simple daily. As I get older I am liking cars that I blend in with much more than flashy things.
I didn’t give them any thought at all until working on them. After seeing the engineering and simplicity of maintenance, it’s a no brainer. These cars should be saved from all junkyards
Great job
I would like to see you clean the interior. I wouldn't expect it to be on the level of "the detail geek", but certainly you have some skills. I appreciate your cleaning of exterior and especially the headlights. We have a 2002 Camry. It's at 135,000 miles. It has been a very reliable vehicle.
you're a good man
Love the content and the reasons for doing to next to nothing. Would love to see more content and more professional detailing equipment like a foam cannon and extractor. Keep up the good work and godbless
I have been working much more and saving up for more equipment. Soon I’ll be getting a steamer and pressure washer to make things easier. I’m glad I’m getting so much support. It’s exciting! Thanks for watching
lets go!!!!! 🥳
Great work bro!
yessir, thing will run forever, simple fix
God bless you brother for fixing the car for free! And also cleaning the car
Osm car ❤❤
subd
I defintely think you should do the inside and if its simply a lil to far gone maybe get some weather tech mats or somethin for the guy im sure he'd appreciate it
These cars are so beautiful when sorted.. the pinnacle of germanic class on wheels, most definitely bmw at is peak. Sad to see wha they have become, in such a relitively short time. Nice tunes btw!
Love seeing this ! I own a. 98 740i Navarro purple , 08 M5 in the sabersilver & and 06 x5 w/ 4.4
Classic Stripped head bolts , 2.4 L, 2002-2006 Camry. How I keep it running with gasses leaking into coolant system : Buy Denso 221-0506 tow package radiator . Buy the highest rated water pump ( early Aisin wp are mediocre ). Keep straw loose on coolant reservoir tank ( allows gases to escape). Change oil 3K religiously. Have driven it this way from 141K to 172K. Previous owner must of been told to dump car.
Is there a part 2? I want to see the Camry put back together and running!
Any follow up?
This is great, keep up the great work!
You sir .. have earned another sub. I salute you man.
