Restoring this 740li takes a lot of work. This video shows just a small portion of what goes into flipping old cars. This 7 series was quite neglected and will need much more work. I’ll have more coming soon! Ask any questions in the comments, I’ll be happy to answer.

I love how practical you are doing everything, no fancy tools or trying to be extra. This is authentic content.
Thank you! I try to avoid extra costs for tools. The brush I used is a rubber brush for dogs. Perfect for getting dirt loose. No steam cleaner, just a shop vac
Hey man first time viewer here! Love to see someone else who loves these cars as much as I do. I have an E92 M3, E70, R53, i3, and an F31 diesel M-sport. Nice to see someone else doing this stuff with no fancy tools and keeping these cars on the road. You got a like and subscribe from me keep them videos coming!
Notice the German Shepherd dog went to go check on that baby when he wandered off?!👍👍🔥
Good job my friend. I don't like BMW, but this particular one is one I always loved. They deserve to be preserved. From James Bond, to The Fame, to The Net, they featured this 7 series and I loved them from the moment I laid eyes on them. Would love to have one, but afraid of parts availability in my country 😊😊
Brilliant work, well done buddy, all the best from UK 🇬🇧
Thank you for bringing this car back from the dead. But PLEASE get rid of those horrendous wheels. Great work on the detailing.
😂 thanks, I will talk with the customer about them
Bro is living a charmed life. Quiet, BMWs being rebirth, cheerleader in a lawn chair, dog managing the kid in the yard and a slight breeze. 😅🎉
And we're all glued to our phones 😢
nice job :) I am restoring a BMW 1 Series E87 118i at the moment many parts have been replaced and it getting better month after month. I wish I made a series about the replacements of parts and mistakes made along the way if you are new into cars for just a little over a year.
Nice job mate
You did real good job brother 740 il are my favorite cars from 95 till 2011 same body I had 3 of them that I changed during the year..iam looking for something clean to get again
These cars are so beautiful when sorted.. the pinnacle of germanic class on wheels, most definitely bmw at is peak. Sad to see wha they have become, in such a relitively short time. Nice tunes btw!
so glad youtube recommended me this video! grat work! keep going!

I loved this video. I am going to check out some more of your content.
Amazing work! You are very original!
Well done sir. My 95 ss was in similar shape when I started
Good work. The kid is working hard too at 13:58.

A real do it yourself job,i like it:)
Good work👍❤️
lovely, great content
dont forget the internal cabin air filters
Hey maybe you can incorporate before and after clips of parts that have been cleaned. They are usually very satisfying to watch
Great work many thanks
I’m not a BMW fan (in fact I detest them!), but fabulous effort and a great job well done! Regards from England 🏴 🇬🇧👍🏻
James Bond car. very nice sir.
Not enough came out of that carpet!
Notice the dog doing a walk around too
still an old battleship...
Very nice!
🥃 E38 fo life
Nice to see an old Gem get some attention. Those wheels are a bit tacky, wish you could get the OG BMW ones...
Yessir! We pulled these M4 wheels at a junkyard to be a temporary fix because the stock wheels were not in good shape. I’m either going to go with M-Pars or a nice set of black wheels.
Great! Can't wait to see how they look when done.
Those carpets better be dry because with the amount of water you used it will get moldy under the carpet.
awsome job man!!! love to see it. honestly people missing out on this video.
Thanks for the feedback! Hopefully UA-cam recommends my video 😅
From this abandoned gray Mr 740iL the 7 series does run that it has the 4.4 8 cylinder in it the 4.4 V8 in it and it's definitely not clean it's not a clean car the misters they're going to start removing the bumper by taking the old bumper out and replacing it with a new one now the engine is clean the car is also clean and now it's good as new
Excellent work 🎉 At 32:45 it looks like the end trim of the dash is mouldy ? Is it not possible to clean, or just overlooked in an otherwise masterpiece detailing ?
Thanks for watching! Yes this car has much more to go. The door panels, dash and seats still need conditioning as well as cleaning out the hvac for signs of rodents and leaves. All the spots you see on the dash should be gone next video!
@@e46life46 Gotta luv the drive way scene...Cars , Kid, German Shepard, and most Important MOM looking out for ya All! This was my favorite car in my collection of BMW's...until it was stolen from my indoor parking while out of the country for a month. Timing chain guides will Have to be done, then you're Good for another 150k miles. Rock on Daddio!😍
I really enjoyed watching this and I look forward to seeing more of the transformation. What do you intend to do about the bodywork damage on the rear quarter?
Right now, there’s not much I can do without the proper tools since I haven’t done much body work. But, I have been learning as I work on smaller repairs so I may find a fix or just have it done at a shop.
Love the E38 and E32 7 series, everything since is crap
0:31 I was like .. Oh.. too bad its a shitty gasoline one..
timing chain slap like a mf'r.... better change out those guides before you loose the engine.
What about the rear quarter panel damage? You gonna adress that too?
PDR will set that straight!
Yes. I’m the owner. Once everything is done on it mechanically I will take it to a PDR specialist.
What are you using on your drill to polish the lights?
So the harbor freight polisher has a polishing pad. After using 3000 grit, I use the polishing pad with either water or polish compound. If you use compound, it’s important to clean and degrease before clear coat.
Anyone want to take my e38 off my hands
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Those cars were built like junk to start with. I still remember riding the 740 my boss had and how things just fell off in the interior when you just touched them....All that black plastic that Germans like to use all over their cars, turn into crispy potato chip after some years....
You can re die the color
You gotta get rid of those ghetto wheels and silly chrome door handles, they make it look more like a early 2000's chevy malibu. Awesome job otherwise
When did M4 wheels become “Ghetto”? What a silly comment from a silly snowflake.
My man you gotta get you a pressure washer. Electric ones are cheap and will be just fine for your cars. Either way keep up the good work my dude!
Came out great, new subscriber!!
Enable as subtitles
I will work on that soon as I get the hang of UA-cam lol
