Replacing leaking radiator with a Mishimoto X-Line Radiator. Tight fit with OEM fan shroud and air box. Hoses fit very tight as well. Heating hose ends in boiling water for a couple minutes helps with install. Other than those things I’m extremely happy with how it came out. Definitely would recommend!

Integra Rear Sway Bar On 96-00 Civic
Переглядів 2,9 тис.2 роки тому
I have a 2000 Civic EX sedan and it did not come with a rear sway bar from the factory. Since I drive a lot of back roads daily I wanted my car to feel tighter when cornering. My options were to buy an aftermarket sway bar but wanted a more budget approach. So I did some research and found I can use a 94-01 Integra rear sway bar. To mount it in my Civic I needed OEM Civic Si sway bar brackets, ...
1993 Integra Cruise (no muffler)

Just a short cruise. A weld on one of my hangers broke and my muffler was an inch off the ground so i took a nice chunk of my exhaust off. (from the rear wheel back)

      They just sit freely in the sway bar. The end link holds them in place. I’ve seen people weld them but I think it’s unnecessary. I haven’t had any issues.

    just saying you probably want to get yourself a rear subframe brace if you're gonna throw the car around corners with that sway bar installed... I've seen subframes tear where the bracket bolts go from not having a brace.

    • @DA9enthusiast
      @DA9enthusiast 2 роки тому

      You don’t need one with a 13-14mm bar. The civic si and integra subframes were not reinforced from factory. Only type r models were reinforced due to 23 and 24mm bars. I’ve been running this setup for over 10 years.

    wanting to do a stock sway bar setup on mine. stock setup better than none lol. Civic LX/EX front bar with Civic Si or Integra LS rear bar. For the rear, the holes are already threaded?

    • @DA9enthusiast
      @DA9enthusiast 2 роки тому

      They are just through holes, not threaded. You will need nuts and bolts, but they are in the correct locations. I drive a lot of back roads where I live and there is a noticeable difference when doing this mod. It’s not going to make it a race car by any means but it does make a difference. You can still buy the si brackets new. Probably not much longer so I would do it now if you’re going to do it.

    • @DA9enthusiast
      @DA9enthusiast 2 роки тому

      The stock integra rear oem bar is 14mm, the oem si sway bar is 13mm. In a way it’s and upgrade from the si.

Still has noticeable roll even with coilovers.
