Recently purchased a 2003 g35 sedan 6 speed as a new daily , decided to record the progress of what I have done to the car not all is record but some of it. We installed some coilovers that got sent to us by maxspeeding rod , after 8 thousands miles on them there going fine. I’m currently doing this swap and got everything done but no crank. What’d you have to wire for the auto harness from the 6.0 to work with the nv3500.

Awesome job man 👏 quick question what year was that lq9 ? I have a 2000 Silverado 5 speed and have a 2005 Cadillac Escalade lq9 will it be plug and play as far as harness goes ?
@@elgrande6781 any Gen 3 ls meaning from 99-06 will work you’ll need a 99-02 engine harness and throttle body to make it work

Hey man just did the same swap but with a 5.3. Did you have have any problems with the truck being in like a limp mode won’t rev over 2000 rpm

It’s a mix of things The intake setup makes most of it and also the transmission has a small wine with adds to it
You used the oem harness was it an auto harness or did you have a manual 6.0 harness
Used an oem v8 to manual harness off a 4.8 5 speed parts truck
I got one myself. 5.3 street tuned and Clutch Masters clutch does it justice.

Did you have to modify the oil pick up tube since you moved it to rear sump? If so how did you do it ?
@@something1085 I used the oem truck pickup tube but had to modify the support bracket

where did you find a harness to get nv3500 plugged in and working gauges? from a 4.8 manual truck?
@@EliteGamer21 yes part truck was a v8 nv3500 harness so all the oem stuff works

eBay clutch max kit stage 3 came with everything it’s for a 4.8 Silverado 2000

Is this Near Fresno??? I swear ive seen this truck before. Just acquired my My father is 1988 Nissan hardbody but it has the z24 4-speed manual setup from factory. Pretty much the 720 setup. Can't wait to start messing with it. I want to outsource a KA for it

Did you have to disconnect the yaw sensor? I noticed on mine when I tried to disable VCD with that button my car would still cut power and correct itself when i'd try to kick it out.
@@JP-eb2hy I made a drift switch so I can cut power from the sensor with a flip of a switch

Im blown away that a 3500 transmission bolted right up to the 2500 6.0 engine no problems and worked that well.
@@lchitman it’s been more then year with it now, no issues it’s a fbo tuned 6.0 now Btw this trans has like 250 k miles lol 😂

How much power did your FG2 make? Thing is moving.
@@JmouaRUAM mm if I remember it made 215-225hp on e85, I raced a ton of cars and it did surprisingly super well, car was healthy and driver mod wasn’t bad lol.

It’s pretty good on gas compare to my ls2 swaped Silverado or my turbo hardbody It’s super comfy and the power band is amazing for a stock car.

I’m doing a swap on my 2003 v6 to lq9 6.0 but I’m running a tbs intake on it do I need the v8 fuel lines and the filter to make a return ?
