Be sure to store your scarf in a moth-proof situation. I got my dream cashmere sweater and paid over $150 for it, more than I've ever paid for a sweater or top before, and was saving it to wear for a special outing. 2 months later when I took it out of my closet...it was riddled with holes. I was heartbroken and pissed.

Glasses look great! I have had great luck with zennie optical. So inexpensive! Fashion fun!

Carolynn, just paid almost $350 for glasses for Emma here and another $400 plus for Kevin's glasses. So, you are right so pricy. I also had Lasik Surgery when I was 22 years old and still good, but now I need my reading glasses. So, good to know btw about Warby Parker! Great deal on the Cashmere Scarf, too.

Hi Carolyn! First off, we are our biggest critics, I know. But I think you look fantastic! I don’t see any “extra” on you! I did not like the painted stripe blouse either. I did think that Michael Stars blue and white blouse was adorable, but I get it that you have something similar. I agree with all your keepers. They were definitely YOU!❤️

Hi Carolyn The glasses look good. You are lucky to have the eye glass place close by. Now, will they adjust them. I am so blind I always paid extra to get them thinner but they never got them thin enough. I used to buy designer glasses. I don’t anymore. I went to Eye Med I think it is called and my husband picked out the glasses he thought would look good. I said no way. I kept trying glasses. He left and went to Home Depot. The girl came over and said you are looking at glasses that are way too big first you. Once you are heavier it always sticks with you. She picked up the glasses my husband picked out and said these are perfect for you..😂😂😂😂l I told her my husband had picked them. I have eye insurance and I got the thin lenses, no glare etc. They were so nice, until our neighbor started cutting down some tree limbs that were ours that made it hard for him to get his huge camper in his road. He left “our “ branches on our side. I picked up a big bundle..they turned somehow and scraped both lenses to pieces..pissed me off. My niece gets hers in the mail and they are a super price. I love the color of the wrap and wow cashmere…bet it feels good. We have blankets in all cars in case we would ever get stuck somewhere…but don’t have anything like that. O agree with the girl who said she brings one to restaurants. I never go to a restaurant in the summer without something to keep me warm. ❤❤❤ Have a great rest of the week.

Cashmere wraps are amazing! I own 4 from Jcrew in different colors and wear them year around. I always bring one to an indoor restaurant in the summer because of air conditioning, perfect warm and classic. Loved the color you’ve chosen.

Love the teal mesh blouse! Perhaps a teal moto jacket or a grey/silver jacket with a little edge would go?? Or one of your awesome black jackets?

Hi Carolyn I saw the excitement in your face with the big box of Front Door Fashion. I think your keepers are clothes you will have for a long time. The sweater looks high quality. The sweater, the pants and your flats make a nice outfit. The sanctuary pants are a great color. I have one pair of chocolate brown pants . I love sleeveless turtlenecks and mock-necks. When I used to pay full price for clothes ( when I worked a lot ) I bought a really nice black sleeveless black turtleneck and I would say it is fifteen years old or older. I like the paprika one you got. I was three pounds down at Christmas Eve but up now, but with this cold icy weather I have ate worse and ate cookies. So, even with three pounds up, I went out with my husband in the SUV ( I don’t have one ) and I had about fifteen minutes to shop while he was at the hardware store. We were having a little birthday lunch for a friend’s husband and I wanted something “ new “ and a size larger than all of my other sweaters. I just said “No more sweaters this winter.” This one is a grey cowl neck , mostly viscose, some polymicide , and angora. It feels heavenly. It was a UK brand, but made by an Italian company called Venzia . I am going to be in shock at prices if I ever quit thrifting. I always put these thrifted items immediately in the washer. If it is not a washable item, I put them in the dryer with Dryal…a home dry cleaning method. I heard of someone getting spiders from eggs in a thrifted..so no to that. I too love the big cuffed jeans, but like you I am not getting because in a year or two they will be too dated. I am going to actually going to either go to the mall or shop online for jeans in a twenty six or twenty eight inch length. I had to laugh at the circus shirt. I did not care for it either. I like stripes..like blue striped or tan striped. Take care. I did exercises periodically yesterday and am much better. ❤❤❤❤

The reversible cashmere tee was a pretty blue on you but yeah.. that sucker was shapeless!

Hi Carolyn! Nice video with many nice items ❤ I agree with the 3 items that you are keeping! Don’t like any of the jewelry (you can do much better at Kohl’s, Marshall’s, and TH Maxx and get sterling silver too!). The rest of the items were OK but mostly just too expensive and/or didn’t look so great on🥹 I did love that light blue cashmere top but I think that you can do better!

Used to love stripes, but lately not as much of a fan here. So understand why you aren't liking the striped top.

The striped top was so flattering on you. It really livened up your coloring and made you glow! Not like a glowing clown!

The taupe sweater and the brown sleeveless top were very "Carolyn"!

I replaced my diet soda habit with sparkling water. It is great for oxygenating the blood. "Mountain Valley" is my preference, they have a peach essence, that I like for special occasions, and I add a big splash of unsweetened cherry, fresh lemon or unsweetened pomegranate to the plain one. You should check out the EWG food scores when choosing carbonated water (all foods) I will link the site in a reply below in case you filter links. I think of boho as being more colorful and "artsy" so your friend Shannon seems to have more of that style at her fingertips. You made a great effort at a good challenge idea!

You both look great, but I think she has probably cultivated a more boho wardrobe. I am 73 and bench 65-75 lbs regularly in the gym. Can bench 105 but don’t do that regularly. I do 50# carries.

I have that Daniel Rainn black and white sweater. It is surprising how heavy it is.

I think there may be too much contrast between the shirt and lavender top. I think a fitted black top would be best. Try that jacket you wore with the striped sweater. Mixing masculine and feline could be sharp!

I had been eyeing that teal top on Stitchfix for a couple of weeks. I am trying to buy less, but after I saw it on you, I had to get it.

There was too much going on with the purple top and skirt, I think a more simple made top would allow the skirt to be the eye catcher. I also agree with you on the Amazon dress, not a fan. However, the Daniel Raine, the WHBM items were beautiful and really flattering on you.

I loved the teal sleeveless top! It’s very fitted so I think a blazer would make it all too stiff. Maybe a soft dark gray or black open front cardigan? The Les Sereine puffy sleeves with the skirt was a lot of volume but I liked your idea of those colors. The black leather coat looked sharp with the sweater!

The purple top is a bit fru fru for the skirt as they are both voluminous and feminine. I think the voluminous skirt would look better with a fitted top. Love the teal top. You look hot in it! :)

I was actually good today. I went to return a pair Spanx Air Essentials Joggers at Bloomingdales. I really wanted the black ones and bought the brown when they only had that color. Then, I found the black at Nordstrom and used Rewards on them. So, I decided I wouldn't wear the brown enough for the full price tag. So, all I did today was return even though I have gift cards for Free People and Anthropologie in the mall there. Trying to finish paying off Christmas here (Almost done) and hoping to wait on more purchases until then. But my Stitch Fix just showed and I have a feeling I am buying something in that box this time out. Think my favorite here was the black & white striped sweater and loved it with the black leather jacket.

Hi Carolyn I am watching you while my husband is watching tv….so need to watch again. I love the black leather jacket. I like the teal top too. There are so many shirts like your light blue one that needs to be in a petite for us. In our area there are very small sections of petite sweaters. I can not wear petite in pants but a lot of tops would be better with a shorter midsection. ❤

Try a peplum top with the plaid pants. Will be fitted but in the right places.
