Slm. Je conseille à M. Habibi de revoir sa conception de la fitra et celle de "l'âme qui réprimande". Le mot fitra est utilisé une seule fois dans le Coran en (30/30). Le Coran la présente comme un "état de perfection originelle" et un état universel de la " condition humaine". Autrement dit, la personne humaine n'est point entachée par un quelconque "péché originel" qui la handicaperait d'une façon ou d'une autre. De plus, la personne humaine est la même sous tous les cieux. Ce qui infirmerait le concept de "peuple élu". Car selon le Coran : "le plus noble auprès de Dieu est le plus pieux." Sourate 49. Mais la fitra peut être inhibée par "l'imprinting" issu de la famille, de la société... qui marquent de façon agressive les façons de voir, de savoir, de sentir, de penser, de prier... (voir Édgar Morin). D'où le pertinent hadith qui énonce : tout homme porte en lui le sceau de la fitra dès sa naissance et ce sont ses parents qui en font un juif ou un chrétien ou un mazdéen..." Il est clair que la fitra est un potentiel qui doit être actualisé. Sa spécifité est d'être ainsi "une fonction de relation". Elle permet donc d'inscrire la personne humaine dans la transcendance... Quant à l'âme qui réprimande, elle est conçue comme une contre mesure en vue d'enrayer les effets délétères de l'âme incitatrice au mal. Elle est donc une aide précieuse et non handicap. Autrement Allah ne jurerait pas par elle. Vous dites également qu'elle mène à la culpabilité. Elle mène plutôt au repentir qui libère de toute culpabilité puisque la qualité du musulman procède de la qualité de son repentir. Vous n'avez pas utilisé à bon escient le verset 172 de la sourate 7 connu sous le nom du verset du "mitaq" qui est un engagement prééxistentiel vis-à-vis de Dieu. Vous l'avez associé à la fitra alors qu'il s'en distingue. Mais il concourt avec elle et cet autre concept majeur, le "dépôt" (33/72) à la définition de l'homme dans le Coran. Le concept de'aql mérite un long développement ainsi que l'âme/égo dans ses spécificités (91/7-10). Votre effort est louable ! Et je vous en sais gré.

6 years ago , luckily, I got a chance to join Islamic psychology class. I considered it a mile stone class in my life. I had been discussing the same point mentioned by Dr. Rahmat Allah. That there is dilemma in IP, especially if you are a well informed Muslim about Islam, you will find it hard to separate applying IP from Islamic teachings, and referring to "Alfig'h" in every point. The class teacher was trying to make the balance between IP and western psychology. But, that was keeping us revolve in circles of discussions.

Satan is working tirelessly to take our youth away from Deen, which decency, responsibility, morality and courage to stand for the truth. One of the crucial reason for Satan's success is that he managed to make men aggressive and take women out of their role as a mother. Because with educated, caring and wise husband, mothers can raise scholars like Imam Shafi, Abdul Qadar Jilaani, Imam Bukhari and so many like them. Mothers are architects of societies. When motherhood is removed from the human equation, society falters.
