Seona Dancing - Bitter Heart HD Full Video

The full version of this video has never been released so I put this together using just clips that have been shown on TV. It all fit together quite well once the clips had been AI upscaled and Colour graded. I had a go at removing the watermarks but it was a bit of a hassle so some can still be seen in a few places. Maybe I'll upload an improved/ extended version at some point.

I could only do so much with this given how ropey the original live recording is in places
Wow! thanks. Any more Adrienne Posta ?
God Ricky was a hottie back then 😍
On one hand I wonder why this wasn't successful and on the other I'm grateful that it didn't work out for him as a musician.
Wow..I like this..why did he not go on with this as a career. Sure he's successful as a comedian. Who knew..David Bowie does come to mind with this clip and they were good friends, Im sure.
Definitely better than Texas. Deserved to get out of Slough.
They were once supported by a little known Scottish outfit called ‘Texas’
Its jane i feel sorry for.
It's 'not David Bowie' 👏
Great actor and singer channeling David Bowie.
Is that Karl in the background, twatting stuff an that
This is quite good .
I could find 0 reference to this show existing online- really appreciate you uploading this because I thought I was insane
Thanks! I did find a referance on a forum somewhere but there is basically nothing online. I only have these episodes because my Mum worked on the show. She's the lady in the "Dowsing" episode.
@oldsongsandstuff8214 captain galaxy and bleeper inspired a lot of little drawings and cartoons I did in my childhood. It really means a lot to me that you uploaded it.
Boy Ricky what a well kept secret. This is a great song. Great singer great comedian.
It is good but I can't help but to wince at "torturous insecurities."
pure dung but how he strives on 🤣
Play a record
Just watched the whole series of The Office again… genius… Love Ricky he says what he wants … Good singer too
I prefer the stuff you do about his little hand
Great music!
We all know where Ricky is, so I wonder where Bill Macrae went. Macrae's piano playing was just as much the soul of More to Lose as Ricky's voice.
I am astonished on so many levels... Not only is this a bop but he's hot? This is wild shit
So glad someone else agrees on the 'hot' 😊
Thanks for putting this video together and upscaling it. It would pass for an official promo release.
If the singer turns out to be a monkey we are NEVER doing this again.
Bassline slaps to be fair
He was talented. I don't understand why he failed as a singer. He should try again and not give up.
Because 1983 was probably the greatest ever year for pop music, so the competition was incredibly tough. In other years this would have made the charts.
@ajs41 very true but he was good in music
Singer kinda looks like the chubby guy in The Office
The reason why, the reason why, the reason why I had to cry.
Ricky is such a gift to humanity. Hes had some misses but his radio show, the original run of the office, and this song are amazing.
Fantastic rendition Old Videos and Stuff - amazing. I don't know why Seona Dancing didn't make it bigger - so much Bowie infused here. And 'More to Lose' had classic new wave dance sensibilities - it should have been huge. I didn't even know this side of Ricky Gervais until today - wasn't a fave of mine but I have newfound respect for the man now..
Ricky looks and sounds a bit like David Bowie. I liked it.
Is this guy a chilled out entertainer though?
The hook is genuinely really good
wow ricky sounded and looked like david bowie
That's not ricky
Certainly is.
He looks like the love child of David Bowie and Morten Harket
The baseline is the same tune Brent was singing for his "dance".
No the song was called Disco something ... maybe Disco Fever?
LMAO that's Ricky G
No it's Posh Spice
So great the see this complete video. Wow! Brilliant. Thank you😀
Gonna tell my kids this was J.D. Vance, and the song's about a couch.
The music 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I guess he’s created an atmosphere where he’s a friend first and a boss second. Probably a chilled out David Bowie impressionist third.
It has elements of the Sharpe and Numan collaborative 'Automatic' album and later Ultravox albums.
The main influence on his vocals is David Sylvian, lead singer of Japan, which was one of the biggest bands in the UK in the early 1980s.
The 80s didn't truly start until this song came out.
Wow, why did he give up singing, awesome voice and style
RIGHT!? HE WAS GORGEOUS
How is it that it didn't go a massive hit ? Ricky G. has such a sensual Bowiesque voice, looks smart, the tune is perfect. Great new wave song, better than many more successful at the time.
💯
Should have been bigger than Texas.
How did this not become an underground dance hit?
There was so much great music around in 1983 it was difficult to compete.
Pure Numan ;)
Hubba hubba. Where can I get one of those?
Alright, I dig it
