Hi cannessa when did you start to see a difference in the water retention? I know everyone is different but it is lasting forever!
I feel like the doctor’s weight is too high for me and I don’t know how to get around that thought. They want me to weigh more than I’ve ever weighed before, and it seems very excessive. I’ve looked online and this seems to be on the heavier side of normal, which really bothers me. Aparently they’re following growth charts, but it feels like they just are trying to get me too large. Any advice?

You are so triggering and you have no idea what your talking about. To many young kids that are clueless to Anorexia and exercise addiction. Now I can’t stop eating have become huge and am so unhappy. You DO keep gaining weight. I miss the 40 years of Anorexia and exercise addiction. This is new hell. YOU are triggering. You shouldn’t be aloud to be in here!!!! Your hurting others. Your snapshot on how you look now is awful. Stop getting money from real people that struggle
Hey man, you sound very aggressive. I can understand things being triggering. If thats the case, you gotta click off and make time for yourself. The creator was talking about weight gain after ED. Not weight gain as in binge eating impact. When you say you cant stop eating, she isn’t promoting to non stop eat. Anyways, best of luck to you. Wishing you a positive and healing journey. It sounds like the creators message was missed with your interpretation.

Hey I love working out I workout once a day and also run everyday I also love eating healthy I started getting dizzy and light headed my friends tell me I probably have a eating disorder I just love eating healthy and working out but I also rly want my period back and all the things my friends say that probably the reason why I have the symptoms is also what makes me happy when I don’t eat healthy I feel guilty or bad abt it I’m a normal weight but my symptoms are like I have a eating disorder I don’t know what to do

Just found you channel. Any tips to stop grazing and eat normal. Eg ill have a banana protein shake then few hes later pick at say 5 hot chips then an hr later maybe a toast with an egg, then an hr later 6 grapes, then perhaps some icing of a piece of cake. Then feel ive eaten sooo much. Yet i know i should still have a dinner. So just nibble whilst making kids dinner and have a wine
Heavy on clothes not fitting, get rid of them!
1. Acknowledge you are struggling; realize help is an option 2. Establish a Treatment team or a support system (ideally with at least 1 trained pro) 3. Establish a plan for recovery! (Plans are not intended to be rigid) 4. Just start :) Be courageous! Be willing to try :) 5. Cultivate understanding and compassion🤗 Very nice list. These steps have definitely helped me help myself along this process.

This is what I’m dealing with right now as I just started my recovery from 20 years of anorexia binge purge I’m experiencing extreme hunger where I have a snack in the middle of the night and a snack for bed a morning snack and afternoon snack and three full meals I do feel full but then I get hungry again for my snack and what I’m really dealing with is being OK with having two snacks during the night I like what you said in this video it’s really encouraging for me but it is scary cause I don’t want to be bingeing

Hi Canessa! I've chosen to really go all in recovery this Monday, I've been on and off in recovery for about 5 years now. You're helping me so much - I'm watching your videos daily. Some fear foods I'd love to eat "with you" are: fried fish, french fries/zucchini fries, any sweets, like cupcakes, cookies, ice cream, reeses pb cups, etc. I hope these suggestions are doable soon! Thank you for investing your time and energy into these videos and this channel to support those of us in ED recovery. You're so inspiring and a beautiful soul💘

Okay. I grabbed some of my mom's cashews. I did not count them. I ate. I want to cry. But I did it. I love cashews. And I love love love peanut butter, and I want to be able to eat it again. I would love a peanut butter and banana sandwich. I'm afraid of anything over 100 calories. Thank you for doing this.

I have never had hunger cues, I have fullness cues, but still only eat because it is time. I have been in ED recovery since 1993. At this point, I doubt I will ever feel hunger.

Thank you for this,I had the sore to touch body, and didn't really know why. I didn't even have an disordered eating for very long, but i know i still need recovery because of how my body was reacting. Other people don't seem to say anything about it for some reason. It is very real tho

Thank you for making this video. I moved into a house with practically no mirrors, no scale, and gradually I am forcing myself into a better eating schedule. My boyfriend has been a godsend in reassuring me that he loves to see me happier when I eat. Wishing everyone who watches this video healing and strength ❤
I'm starting this month and I gained 3 pounds so far increasing my cal intake to 200-300 :) I started drinking milk again for the first time in... 5 years? and I'm going to Starbucks next week for cake pops, and I'm eating peanut butter out of the jar (in moderation) and little steps to get my brain to realize it's all okay :) I really want my feminine curves back more than anything, and it's taken completely destroying my body to realize how sick I really was all that time and I'm horrified I let it go on for so long. It's a brutal disease. I want my breasts back and I'm scared that they might be deflated and crepey like an old person forever because of the damage. I cried about them tonight and how they make me feel right now. It's so sad what happens to our bodies. I did get my period back regularly and for a good 5 days, though, and I was worried about my fertility but the GYN i saw told me as long as I'm menstruating there should be no reason I can't get pregnant. I'm full of hope and that's stronger than fear.
I'm trying to stop calorie counting and it just made me realise that I was tracking the calories in the spices... Like literally 2 calories of oregano it's insaneee
Hello! Is there a deadline for getting your period back? I am worried because, despite my best efforts, my period has been gone for nearly a year and a half. I am not sure if my “amenorrhea” stage had shifted into full blown premature menopause. Idk if it’s too late. It’s also not the first time I’ve lost my period. I didn’t want it to become this prolonged :(

I cut out exercise for a few months. I think it was about six months but it is different for everyone!
So much truth here! I have been practicing intuitive eating for a few months now and it’s been a complete game changer. It’s hard but so worth it. It’s been so hard to let go of the food rules and judgements surrounding food, but it’s been so freeing to let all that go! I felt stuck for so long and felt like there was no way I was going to get out of it and be able to let go of all that, but I have jumped in with both feet and listen to my body now and respond to what it wants and needs. If anyone else feels hopeless or like they can’t do it, I promise YOU CAN!! It’s not easy and takes a lot of hard work but it is so worth it to be free of that mindset and be able to enjoy life where your world is not controlled by food. Thank you so much for making these videos! They are so encouraging! 💖
