I bought my Karma in 2018 for 1200 beans and I have the same problem. I found a used DJI Phantom 3 with 3 ($100 apiece) batteries in a fancy case for $500 at a pawn shop and that drone has NEVER let me down or not worked.

Same thing happened to my...what is the next move

THE ONLY WAY I WAS ABLE TO FIX MINE WAS REMOVE THE GPS IN THE DRONE. ANTENNA CHIP FAILS REPLACED THE CHIP CAME BACK UPLINE

What up dude, I’m so stoked for you because I’m suffering the same go pro karma drama, however my drama is slightly different, mine says that it is already paired when I check under pairing, then I try to press start to get is hummin’, yet I either get to a red warning on the upper screen of the remote while that tells me I have a “connection” issue and to try again later 🤷🏻‍♂️. Bat in hand, I’m about to go office space on this thing if it doesn’t show me a sign of life soon, please let me know if you have any suggestions other than what worked for you here, but fyi I’m going to use your video right now to see if this magically helps mine resuscitate too, why not

I did the go pro costumer service using the go pro service video service and unfortunately they said, they can not help. I explain to them that once I updated the drone it stop working. they are awere of this and decided they can not help. so sad.

Its 2024 and this still works. Still have issues with GPS and calibration every now and then but i can still fly it.

Olá. Tentei estes procedimentos. Mas já no primeiro passo, o drone não desliga sozinho. Então, não consegui continuar os outros passos. Tenho dificuldade em desligar o drone pelo botão. Para desligar, tenho que tirar a bateria. Tem alguma sugestão?

Going on 6 minutes of the drone trying to pair. Not pairing and not shutting down by itself. Damn GoPro!

Bad video processor chip. I habe 3 doing the same thing. Plenty of videos out for this issue

hi, i've only just learned of all of this after trying to use my drone the other day, been sitting in the cupboard for a while. i tried your video, appreciate it. didn't work for me mine just stays in pairing mode. power button has no respone on drone and have to actually pull the battery out to turn it off. be lucky if i've flown it half a dozen times from new. guess i have a $2k brick. i'm in new zealand and going by this i'll never buy another gopro product in my life. was looking at a new action camera, won't be a gopro now!. appreciated your video and pleased you got your one repaired/replaced

hi , only just seen these videos , my karma drone hasn't been used for quite a while, went to use it a few days ago, only to be meet with this problem. i am about to try your previous video and see if i can get it to pair. otherwise i've got a $2k brick..... i'm in new zealand. i'd be lucky if i've only flown it half a dozen times. i'm with you. we shouldn't have to be paying anything for replacement. was looking at getting a new action camera...... now i know i'll never buy another gropro product in my life.

Hello everyone if anyone out there needs help with the karma pairing issues I can repair

Mine would not power off after flashing it kept going 10 minutes And it will not power off by pushing button either. I have to take out battery. I literally just bought this from somebody. Who said it flies and took it out of the box😢😭

Karma Drone pairing issue FIX: =========================================== ua-cam.com/video/bNg_Xh555pg/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/sR_jm-DC2Tc/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/grVcY23CmZI/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/3fWSGOb2GXw/v-deo.html I soldered a wire from JTAG pin 1 (3.3V) on Karma mainbord, directly to Vdd solder point for microSD card slot. So I did not use resistor. Standard MicroSD cards need 3.3V on Vdd as power. Be carefull with soldering, use a very tiny thin soldering tip and clean sponge to work neatly and be aware not to damage the mainbord or traces on the board. U have used the 1K resistor between pin 1 of JTAG and probe - which you hold on the tiny SMD resistor during startup of Karma drone. Good luck everyone !

i have two of them that don't work, contact support and was told to just update it, well i cant so i guess i got two useless drones, already made a BBB complaint so we see how that goes #gopro #karma #goprokarma @gopro

I am selling my drone if anyone wants to buy it - I only flew it a handful of times. I haven’t tried this yet because the camera was stolen . $200.

lol the truth is about the Karma is that many have blue tooth modules failure. It sucks if this happens to you. I have had mine for years and have no problems tho. Glad this worked for you but for most it will not. GoPro really screwed the pouch on this drone as far as that goes. Other than that it’s a great mean drone.
