I guess apparently the cast from Full Monty was supposed to do the stripping to in this episode but they couldn't get the appropriate visas to film for pay, so they agreed to be in the background of this scene

So apparently Ferguson was never offered this role initially. Originally he had auditioned for the role of a Hispanic photographer on Suddenly Susan, which he obviously failed, and the head of WB's casting department asked if he could do an English accent and suggested he audition for Mr. Wick which was being auditioned for on the same lot. Ferguson also claimed that he went over the top with the accent as payback for years of English actors doing horrible Scottish accents

I just wanna say, as a bigger guy myself, that I think it's absolutely outstanding and admirable how much confidence Drew displayed in every dance scene he was in. It's hard sometimes to not get self conscious about body image issues
