What lake please
It’s called carbon canyon regional it’s off the 57 and lambert
Yo Homeboy there starting to stalk truchas - trout in SGV and east Los Angeles this week Say what's up to cuzo #HDK
I was on the website and saw I’m super excited for the trout stocking g we are hitting carbon canyon this sat and want to venture to La and inland empire as well. Saludos and I will definitely tell the cousin what’s up G
Nice! Caught a giant female lobster there once in the morning. It literally had a gulp worm in it's mouth lol
Oh what no way how did you catch it? That’s awsome I bet that was satisfying to catch
@@HeavyDutyKingsOutdoor I had thrown out a carolina rig. Could not believe the breeder size but cut the line since you cannot catch them via hook n line nor was it in season lol
Oh no way that’s insane I would have been super stoked to just witness that catch haha
What bait you throwing?
I stay using live bait it’s the way to go I believe jack smelt you can catch them at any fishing spot
Was this dohneny Jetty?
I honestly don’t know brother lol I went to adventure out and I saw the jetty and said I was going to try it but failed so I’m going back to dominate it 💪🏽💪🏽
Pier or jetty license required??
Yessir I believe so I always carry mine when I’m out there just to be on the safe side
no L require for piers or jetty.
How do you get your live bait? What did the sign say that they have there now?
The live bait we get it on a sabiki size 3 it’s a really small hook and ball up tiny balls of bread put it on the hook and let it sink and just wait. It usually won’t take long to bring any up u will feel them bite instantly. As for the fish board I don’t think there is any at that location but there is a variety of fish you can hook.
Landed Pompano there today.
Oh what no way that’s awsome what did you use?
yo what a coincidence. we were the asian couple that got there when you guys were heading to the jetty. fishing was pretty tough that day haha. hopefully the rod will be replaced with no issues.
Oh wow yea I remember you guys hope you guys are good and it was a pleasure meeting you two. And yes I got ahold of the manufacturer and they are going to send me a replacement rod so I’m glad they are honoring their warranty. Thanks for watching maybe we will see you out there again soon
Was that’s the 🦭 trying to eat him alive 😅
Lmfao 🤣 I think he was the 🦭
Fuck! That’s crazy
Bro I was like wtf is bro doing he straight hopped in from the jetty swam to a sand bar went up on the rock was doing a 🦭 call jumped back in and swam back I was mind blown 🤯 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ne kaki i zemunic3😊
What pier you Were at
how did you guys get the live bait?
We use a sabiki with tiny balls of bread but has to be size 3 small hooks on the sabiki no glow in the dark balls on it I have a lil bit of it filmed on my video in Dana point I just posted
@@HeavyDutyKingsOutdoor thanks for the tip!
No problem any time
If you can't see the hook then don't become a surgeon, just cut the line so it can't go on in life .
Thank you for the advice I definitely started to do that so that the fish can live on don’t want to harm them
Nice man looks fun
Yea brother it was beautiful out there. I want to go back and do a full day soon I had to cut it short unfortunately so I can watch my football game
What are they shiners?
They are jack smelt
Gonna fish off this Pier next time I get my car serviced in Long Beach
Yesss definitely a great spot to go to 🙌🏼good luck brother I can’t wait to go back
lol the halibut was hella short… and still grabbed the tape:.
Yup always 🙌🏼😎
Orale tu saves ese keep it reel at the Simple Gee
Hell yea g you already know 💪🏽💪🏽
What's the fishing spot?
Seal beach harbor
Damn bro I didn't think you're gonna be awake. But thx I'm a try to catch that thing you lost. By the way, do you think they're sharks?
lol I work graveyard that’s why I was up but yea we have lost big fish before I don’t know I wish we could land but they break 40 and 50 lb braid so whatever it is it’s huge! And yea there is sharks out there my buddies have caught Leopard sharks and smooth hound out there it’s pretty kool
But I'm, I have 65 pound braid. Big 150 mono. And a big hook and some Mackerel.
That sounds like a huge shark rig have u caught any big ones on that?
Thats a skate or shoe horse ray
Yea I need to get more familiar with the stay family but I think it might be a skate
Poor thing let him go.
I did release him he was kool looking though
You guys should do camping and fishing 🤎🤎
Yes I so want to do that soon I’m trying to stock up on gear to be ready though and most importantly a generator that can handle my cpap machine for at least 5 hours
that use to be my favorite pier to go and fish with the family it was always nice and clean.. but they need to keep up with cleaning out those port a potty's
That’s awsome when did you used to go with family it was most likely core memories huh? It’s a great pier to fish at for sure I loved it old school feel probably a lot of memories made there! And yes they can work on the porta potties but over all it was a great experience! Thanks for watching and supporting 🙏much love and respect ❤️🤙🏼
@@HeavyDutyKingsOutdoor likewise brotha! yeah lots of memories there.. we normally throw shark rigs out for thresher and leopards on the far left side of the pier..
@@TM-ti3md damn i want to catch a shark maybe one day you can show me how that would be amazing!!
Holding a filet knife like a fat cigar is crazy. Don't take cutting lessons from Kendall Jenner
I’m new at it I’m trying to learn but will get better promise 💪🏽💪🏽
@@HeavyDutyKingsOutdoor good thing for youtube :)
@zippo11x lmfao exactly it’s just practicing but that’s how I learned
Love fishing there I’m a local in Long Beach I been fishing there since a kid. I went a month ago and no one was catching anything not even mackerels
Yea brother it was a great pier I will most definitely be going back. Core memories as a kid huh that’s awsome! I used to go to seal beach and Huntington as a kid great memories. And yea people were catching but it was slower than my usual spot but I want to go around and try different spots for the viewers
That reel is the problem... Buy a diawa bg 4000...
Yea it was what I started with but I definitely upgraded since then ended up going with a penn 7’ battle 3 6000
People poo poo bonita as a trash fish. I love it. If cooked properly, it tastes better than some tunas. Bleed it, ice it, cook it, love it! Great video. Real representation of So Cal pier fishing. Props to you my bruddah.
Yea it was most definitely great tasting it was my first time trying it and I loved it I will most definitely try to target it more often. Thanks for your support brother 🙏 much love and respect ❤️🤙🏼
Nice Halibut 😊 awesome video 🤙
Thank you so much brother thanks for the support much love ❤️ and respect 🤙🏼
That is an itty-bitty halibut where I come from. But, nice catch.
Yea here in California it’s a decent size but I know there are monsters in like Alaska which I one day will go fish there and film that’s the dream. But thank you 🙏 it was a fun time
these are my fishing brothers
That’s right brother it was very amazing experience fishing here everyone was so welcoming ❤️🤙🏼
Keep the videos coming my fishing brother 🤙❤️💯

Haha that’s right brother Raiders! Out here catching fish 🎣 thanks for the subscribe and support much appreciated 🙏🙏🙏
I'm giving you a like. You guys seem pretty cool I would love to fish with you. Nice fish. All that being said I'm from alaska. When you say you caught a monster halibut I have to say that was a baby. A nice average halibut in Alaska weighs somewhere between 20 and 40 lb anything over a hundred pounds is considered a big halibut. Anything over 200 lb is considered huge. Anything over 300 lb is considered a monster. My buddies and I were in a Halibut Derby off of Valdez. We went to a shelf about 4 hours off sure. We were only there about 20 minutes before we hooked into our first halibut. It was 160 lb. The next fish caught with 252 lb. Around 11 halibut that day and all of them were over a hundred pounds with the exception of some 20 to 40 pounders. The guy that caught the 252 pounder that year won the derby...... $ 15,000 is what the guy won. That was the first halibut he had ever caught in his life. I'm not sure exactly where you guys are but today I am in arizona. I would love to catch up with you guys and do some fishing. Keep up the good work and stay true to your fishing....... in other words always tell everybody your fish was bigger than it is. Make the story grandiose. You guys are true fisherman.
Thank you very much brother appreciate you and you are welcome to fish with us anytime. Omg yes compared to Alaska this is nothing fishing in Alaska would be the dream I know there is monsters out there and I hope one day I can go out there and get to fish and film out there!! Thanks for the story I love it and thanks for your support 🙏🙏 much love and respect 🫡

Sorry , that's not huge
Thanks it’s a keeper
Hey friend, you are fishing, one of my favorite places to fish. You should try it at night time. I won't say where you are at,,but I know where you are. Definitely try it at night.
Yes it’s the spot and I love that place at night the bite is fantastic at dawn I usually stay all afternoon till night time and it’s super fun!!
flounder... a VERY nice flounder. Nice fillet job. Trivia for ya: only females get that big. Males only grow to like 12-15 inches.
Yea it was a beautiful one and my cousin definitely did a great fillet job thank you for acknowledging. And oh wow I didn’t know that thanks for sharing I do love learning new things appreciate you brother much love 🙏🙏❤️
@@HeavyDutyKingsOutdoor And just to correct myself, I think you're right... I think it is a halibut based on the fish's more overall diamond shape and tail. My apologies. After all, I do not know much about halibut fishing; I am a flounder fisherman, and I just assumed since it wasn't deeper sea and/or monster size, it must be a flounder. My ignorance. Either way, I bet it tasted GREAT! Enjoy the water and its bounty, my friend. 🎣
Want to catch more halibut don't let your bait sit slowly reel your bait in and keep it in prespool so you're going to have to Palm your reel and just move it slowly across the bottom little bits at a time and when the fish hits you're already in free spool that it takes some the killer halibut technique from the shore
Thanks for the advice appreciate you 🙏🙏 I will make sure I keep that in mind and use that technique next time
What a "Fluke" huh?
It’s a halibut but same thing I believe
Nice fish!
Thank you 🙏 it was very exciting!
What were those pink worm lookin things you were using
They are Berkeley’s mice tail they are great for trout fishing 🎣 they have many different colors
@@HeavyDutyKingsOutdoor the power bait ones?
Yessir the power bait they are probably like 3-5$ for a pouch of them
@@HeavyDutyKingsOutdoorsorry one more thing, what would you recommend for fishing for large mouth, what size hook and bait/lures
No problem brother I’m glad to help and for those you can use swim bait or a Texas rig with a plastic worms or any plastic on a rig you want to cat out and reel in slowly with a jerk every once in a while so the instincts on the fish kick in to attack the lure and also you can try spoons or jerk bait and they will normally come with a hook attached
Good job perro say whats up to cuzoh
Thanks g Saludos and I’ll say what’s up to him for you.
You guys did work on this trip 🙌
Yea we had a good day I had caught my first halibut but I didn’t record because for some reason it was on record and didn’t know so when I pressed record it stopped lol major fail
First comment. Keep putting in the good work!
Thank you for the comment 🙏🙏🙏 much love ❤️ ❤️ and very much appreciate the support!
I think it's a guitar fish. A type of shark. Could be wrong.
Yea it’s a guitar fish also known as a shovel nose shark I guess scientists named it that first then later changed it to guitar fish
Dang bro, that’s a world record bass
It’s a butterfly ray 💪🏽
Yum 🤤 makes me want to go fishing now!
You should! We always have a blast out and core memories for sure
Hell yea homeboys tu saves ese
Hell yea! We where hoping we saw you at the spot
Sir thats a flounder 🤣 jk😊
