Moroccan here, and honestly, if you've made the decision to move in here for good, you should definitely consider buying a car. 900$ a month is way too pricey, I'm not sure how banks here deal with foreigners, but if your credit score is good, you can get a loan with 0% interest (you have to pay a certain amount in advance), but the monthly cost will come down to a third of what you're paying or even less.

I just bought a car in Morocco myself after being on the sidelines for years. I’m sorry to inform you that Land Rover/Range Rover is a terrible choice. Cars in Morocco maintain their resale value and you bought one of the few brands that actually depreciate a lot. Also RR is not a reliable car after a certain mileage with so many problems, and maintaining it will be very expensive. Also annual Dariba is cost prohibitive, I believe it’s rated at 13 CV or above- a reason why it’s not a sought after car. Brands to stay away from are Mercedes, Audi, Jaguar, Range Rover and BMW. They call these the suckers brands.
