I like her choices for this song better then those in the show. There they seem afraid of letting Ellen truly sing.

Allegedly, this song is going to replace Now That I've Seen Her. If this is true, I do not like the change. The style of the music is very different from anything else in the show. I do not find it to be nearly as moving as Now That I've Seen Her. Furthermore, it is just WRONG to change a masterpiece like the score to Miss Saigon.

Where is this song going to placed in the show? I'll be upset f Now That I've Seen Her is removed for this. I really liked the emotion of that song. Even the snippet from the uk tour (with kerry ellis as Ellen) gives me chills

Can someone please post the lyrics for this? Certain parts difficult to understand due to recording limitations. Melody is lovely!

I just hope Lea comes up with new songs coz her voice is really very good.

On further reflection, this is a brave choice. The melody for 'It's her or me' is one of the best and am surprised a new one was written. The Dutch version just about works. I hope this is not another catastrophic decision such as the one to have a video helicopter rather than the real thing.

Wow they really have toned down Ellen from the original. From 'It's her or me' to 'Now that I've seen her' to this new song. She came across as too aggresive before and was hard to warm to her, 'Maybe' could be exactly what's needed.

I saw this performance in Dallas. This song is so perfectly beautiful and emotional.
