Royal Enfield Trail School 23 | Royal Enfield Himalayan | Panshet, Pune
This year's Royal Enfield Trail School was organized on May 21st, at Panshet, near Pune, Maharashtra. It was hell of an experience and never have I ever felt this confident on my own bike. Out of the 27 participants, there were absolutely none who didnt drop their bike even once on that day. The trail where I dropped my bike was the toughest one and I am glad to tell you that only a handful of us could pass through that trail, with or without help. A few had already given up on their way up the final trail, most asked the instructors to take their bikes up that patch. In that scorching May summer, it was a challenge keeping sane, considering our all-AC habitats, let alone keep up with the instructors and handling the freaking a couple tons heavy mighty Himalayan on those terrains.

Bro one question i went to the outlet of puma and showed them photo of these shoes they said its very old stock means almost 4-5 years so should i buy it now ? Or its durability fu*>$ed???????
Since no one reply let me reply for you with my experience with this shoes. I bought it like 2 years ago and have same situation like you, its old stock and hard to find size, based on my use of the shoes, its still wearable, i wear it like 1 time a month, and the shoes have no problem, so i guess its worth it even if its old stock? But you might want to check it first before buy it and ask more detail from other people too, cheers

All RE mechanics leaves the chain too tight WIth less than 10mm of sag. I had to make them increase the chain sag every time. They also try to skip battery checking or top up. General inspection if all bolts are tight or not, brake and clutch cables, etc., are also skipped. I had brake failure because they forgot the brake reservoir diaphragm gaskets and lost the brake pedal pins.

Most of my 'serious' riding was in the 1950s when bikes were still 'basic' Maintenance and servicing was pretty much similat to what is bdone on this bike.You can do everything at the side of the road if need be, just like the old days. Really this bike is fairly unchanged from those day apart from disc brakes, fuel injection which is a major improvement from the old Amal carburettors and of course tyres and suspension are much improved. I like the monoshock at the rear, that can be upgraded fairly easily. It is worth upgrading the steerinf head bearinf=gs with tapers instead of ball bearingsas they wear fairly quickly

Hope you are asking about Saree guard ?Since most of the Indian women wear saree, due to which they sit sideways (especially the pillion rider). This guard will avoid the saree to struck with wheels.

Looks like it would help keep your saddlebags off the wheel also.
The filter didn't need changing and I don't think there's any harm in cleaning it but it would be better to use a vacuum and in the case of the oil change, use something, reusable to direct the oil and make the process cleaner and cheaper, negating excess cleanup and keeping the mechanics health uppermost.
