I heavily agree with your view because at th16 if I wanted to get a 2 star I needed to put a th13 attack or higher on it to do it. This cwl I got a th11 vs th17 2 star hit (mostly because the eagle wasn't there to activate. If the th blocked blizzard bombs I could see it defending something like that, but because it can be baited stuff like that is possible.

Ive been playing coc since 2012 but usually removed all obstacles also you have to have the game downloaded to get the obstacles each new year which i deleted the game for 1/2 years before downloaded back for a few months then deleted again so my rarest obstacles is like season 6 cakes 2015 chrismas trees and stuff like that the early 2012-2014 stuff i removed all and i missed out on season 7 cakes and such from deleting the game and not having it downloaded 🤷

Yeah typically when attacking bases people place the eagle and th on opposite side of the bases making people attack the eagle side and risk a 1 star i even attack eagle side for th 17 this doesn't matter now just attack th side for guaranteed 2 star and still have a good shot at 3 💀

The new update in general is pretty bad lol th17 is a scam you lose eagle and you wasted alot of time and resources on upgrading the eagle same with hero hall now you have to spend time and resources upgrading a separate building just to upgrade heroes and also hero post dont even act as buildings now either so if you dont place them like a air sweeper then people can place troops in that spot overall its a scam and a pretty bad update though it doesn't surpass the atrocious builder base update haha
