IN DEFENSE OF STOCK MEDIC (Attention very large text, read it if you are very patient and with an open mind to new perspectives) Before I start my "controversial" arguments, I wanted to talk about the true objective of a tf2 doctor, it's not to cure his patients, it's not to build Uber and especially not to hit that crossbow shot from the other side of the map. The real goal is to STAY ALIVE! Most of the doctor's unlockable weapons make you go from a more defensive position to an offensive one, this in itself is a big nerf, but I'll explain this later. The doctor's primary equipment is the best to keep you alive, he has a syringe weapon that deals pure damage with no disadvantage other than it being a projectile, but if you learn to use it correctly it causes a lot of damage and the best part, you are not obligated to use it if you have a good positioning, which is good to always be building uber, and the main mistake I see from people using this weapon is using it proactively. Which is trying to help your team with damage and disconnecting the medical weapon, syringe weapons have the slowest travel speed in the game, which makes them terrible on the offensive. HOWEVER, if you use it reactivates and when someone is heading towards you, this weakness of this weapon makes its strength as it becomes easier to hit the syringes, and the damage of this weapon is very high, and a total of 480 If you get them all right, but it's not necessary to get everything right, since most classes have 200 health and below. "But there's the blutsauger and the overdose which is better" firstly, the blutsauger forces you to be aggressive at all times to keep your life healthy, making you put yourself at unnecessary risks and consequently no bulding uber all the time. And still talking about the overdose that 15% damage penalty may be quite ignoreable, but I did the math and overall you lose 80 total damage per clip, which makes it an exclusive tool for escaping and nothing more,which makes it much less flexible compared to the stock syringe gun. However, even though most people don't care about damage, and use it for its speed and say that it is a stock upgrade, know that medical weapons have an ability that imitates the user's speed, so if you want speed, just heal one scout. Of course it's not a consistent strategy, but at least you have this in your arsenal. And here comes the bonesaw which may even be the "worst" melee weapon since it has no effect, but it has the highest attack speed which is very good for finishing off opponents who underestimate you and of course it is the best weapon for self defense as well as the standard syringe gun, you see a pattern, don't you? And since you don't gain anything by hitting someone, you don't force yourself to try to put yourself at risk, which the ubersaw makes you tempted to do. So if you choose to use a melee weapon that is not a stock weapon, use the solemn vow, it is very good for passing information to the team, and going against more experienced players. BUT STAY WARNED! The spy already has this ability, so if you want information, ask him, because as I already explained, the main objective of a doctor is to stay alive, and the solemn vow opens up a space for distraction and temptation, just like the ubersaw. Because as you see the guy's health being low, you are tempted to kill him and get out of your position, that's why I recommend using her as a second medic. And now we have in my opinion the medic's worst melee weapon, the Vita saw where you are rewarded with Uber gains after death, but for that you have to have hit someone with you having -10 life lol. This is the opposite of everything I've already said here so I'm not even going to try to explain why it's bad. And now I'm going to talk about a very creative and fun melle weapon but almost no one uses it, which is the amputator, it is a very unique melle weapon in that it increases your defensive playing style and drastically lowers your offensive style, where you become more dependent on your time, since you don't have the flexibility that stock provides. BUT if your team manages to protect them they are extremely rewarded with AREA HEALING! It is very good if you are defending an area and your team plays well, or when you are the only medic and need more healing, and it is also a great weapon for retreating because when it is active you have your passive healing increased by 3, which is good to negate the downside of the blutsauger a little if you like to use it. And the medigun is the medigun...and that's it. Of course the crossbow and ubersaw exist, but they are only good if your team is good at protecting you, otherwise you will be more vulnerable than you already are. And another thing, I just hate people who just play a style of play without any variety just because it's the "meta", but this will make you very predictable for the opposing team which will cause a loss. Medic healing doesn't stack

This was pretty informative for someone like me who's unfamiliar with highlander and more familiarized with 6s meta. It was helpful learning what the "offclasses" roles are in this meta and their loadouts. Regarding loadouts are there counterpicks like how overwatch does with hero selections? Like if a demo is running loch&load+quickie and being really agressive would an engi go rescue+jag to constantly adapt to destroyed buildings?

There was a play between two medic who both had the ubersaw and held the entire team for a while until a pyro broke the chain One medic had his melee equiped to charge his uber and the other was ubercharging him. After 4 hits they switch.

The crossbow is essential and should probably be part of the basic kit. I can't imagine playing medic casually without the Crossbow helping me burst heal at range; and burst heal low health patients more efficiently than the medigun. Solemn Vow should be mentioned since it gives you the spy's passive of seeing the health of enemy players for free. I think not talking about the other mediguns or melees is totally fine for a basic tutorial though

I'm sure this video will help a lot of new players. However, you haven't talked about Medic's unlocks. This is probably because you don't want to confuse new players too much, but I still think that this information is important, so I will just put it here. I'm talking about the Crusader's Crossbow, probably the strongest weapon in the entire game. It's so strong in fact that it's required if you want to play Medic optimally. It's a single-shot syringe gun that fires fast bolts that both damage enemies and heal teammates. The ammount of healing and damage greatly depends on the distance between you and the target. At close range it deals About 35 Damage, but at Long range it can deal up to 75. Yes, you can THEORETICALLY outsnipe Snipers with two shots, though I wouldn't recommend it. The healing will always be double the damage. For instance, a bolt that would deal 50 damage to an enemy will heal a teammate for 100 HP. The only downside to all of this is "no headshots", which is hilarious considering that all other syringe guns can't headshot anyways. Another downside is that it's quite challenging to use. It requires good aiming and prediction skills to be used effectively. Furthermore, it has less DPS than stock at close range. Also, this weapon can't overheal and reloads automatically when not equipped. Just switch between the Medi-gun and the crossbow for optimal healing. That's about it for the crossbow. For Melee I highly recommend the Ubersaw, though Medic's melee slot is much less contested. The stock Bonesaw is fine and the Amputator is highly underrated. As for Medi-guns, every single one of them is useful in certain szenarios. Stock is the best overall and the Vaccinator is hard to use but cancerous to fight against.

Just don't ever play on community servers with GeforceNow or you'll get permabanned instantly if a cheater has burned the IP.

My pc can run tf2 but it has very very bug problem with loading stuff like weapons and hats and if anyone know how to load everything at once please tell me
