A dumb horror for dumb people. Honestly every action taken in this movie made absolutely no sense and would not be done by actual people in real life. Let's not call the cops immediately when a creepy girl shows up twice in the middle of the night. Let me get a shotgun and hide in a dark room with the door open instead of barricading it, and then shoot instantly without verification that it's the intruders and not a cop or your best friend. Then leave my defenseless wife alone in the house I ALREADY KNOW THEY HAVE BEEN INSIDE OF and go look around in the dark digging through a truck with my back exposed to the world. Never mind she could watch my back, and never mind if I get jumped now the killers have a damn shotgun. The movie actually becomes extremely predictable once you realize they are unmitigated r' tards.

This movie was so BLOODY FUN! The actress of Abigail was insanely good and the movie was so funny. I has an absolute blast with it and cannot wait to watch it again. Going to be apart of my halloween viewing for years to come for sure.

The demon definitely unalived everyone else. The guy was still burned and the other guy head was still turned. Also, why would the guy take his check out of and start to praise the demon if it was just a guy starting to murder people???? He would just run away.

I think Jack was hypnotized the whole time and triggered to kill his guests in front of a live audience during his previous visit to the Grove. It was his wife who made the deal for Jack to commit the sacrifices for her to be healed, she was the rich & powerful super-celeb while he was a radio DJ when they met, she got him into the secret club, she's the Tom Cruise with a secret hospital room in the HQ and a personal medical staff, he was her pet, expendable. He was under hypnosis when he thought he was killing Minnie, she needed him to think it was her and he was doing the right thing out of love otherwise he never would have killed Lilly or anyone who tried to stop him. Molech (originally the god of the Canaanites in the bible) doesn't accept adult sacrifices, they have to be virgin female children and it has to be by bloodletting, not cancer, so Minnie wasn't the one who was sacrificed by Jack, it was Jack who sacrificed the 13 year old Lilly on behalf of Minnie. Abraxas isn't a god that the cult Lilly was a prisoner of, Abraxas is just a magic word of Greek origin that opens a portal for Molech to move between dimensions through. Lilly was always going to be a sacrifice to Molech.

I enjoyed the splitting head transformation it was unique and different. But as you mentioned it would have looked horrific and cool to have her arms grow long as the lighting zaps from her body. And she kept that same demonic facial expression with her eyes rolled back like Reagon in The Exorcist. Now that would have been haunting but overall i enjoyed the splitting head transformation it’s something you haven’t seen before.

Watched this last night and it was a decent film. The thing with the film is that the tv host is a member of bohemian grove and he sacrificed his wife for fame there. The demon in the girl says hello to him and that he knows him from the place with the tall trees. That’s bohemian grove. He made a deal there with the demon. That stuff happens in real life, especially at the grove but they don’t want you to know about that. They use movies to deflect from truth. Anyway, this movie was alright. I’d watch it again.

The Grove they refer to in the movie is Bohemia Grove, where the "elite" perform strange rituals before a giant owl statue that represents Moloch, the demon of child sacrifice.Even the most sceptical people often have to admit there's something shady going on there.

Agreed. Would have preferred to skip the glowing head killing everyone at the end. Would have preferred to have it a bit more grounded but still disturbing. A bit of ambiguity with the physics would have worked better. Overall I liked it though.

I agree with the glowing splitting head scene not being needed, i'd have loved more of the girl hitting them with personal verbal attacks with her demonic voice. Because the demon knows their secrets. I really did like this movie!

We saw the footage of what happened. The demon took over the television station. The demon tricked the host into killing everyone on the show. "Abracadabra.". The only reason the demon lost is because the ghost of the host's wife tricked him into killing Lilly which was the vessel for the demon. It was the love he shared with his wife that saved his life. The only way to defeat evil is with love. According to all Christian and Jewish dogma God is pure love. Evil cannot overpower love. And since god is love it's the only thing we have that can stop evil. You're welcome.
