I may be bias, but in my opinion, this is the best beach in South Australia. Was always my favourite beach when I lived in Adelaide. Well worth the drive to visit.

Yes, that is a great road trip...to view additional information about the desert phase of that trip view my more detailed video titled 'THE GREAT CENTRAL ROAD' (duration about 4-5 minutes in length) showcasing from Laverton to the WA/NT State borders...pls let me know what you think?...and thanks for your comments...cheeers.
What would happen if one gets lost in the 50 degree desert?
Breaking down in your vehicle...that is why we carry food and water and have emergency communications...golden rule is to stay with your vehicle until you are rescued....getting lost on foot is a whole different story...again, it is not wise to try and 'walk out', but to stay in one location and wait for rescue...you can only survive for up to 2 days without water and after that time, life will cease...when travelling the outback you need carry water, food, emergency communications and NOT be tempered to walkout!!!! thanks for your question and all the best wherever you maybe located?....cheers!!!

Hi, I've just found this video which I do enjoy but I find each clip in the film is way too short, I have no time to take in the scene before it dissolves to a new scene.
Hello Wayne...thankyou for your comment...upon review it can appear that way, however, the video you make mention, is a compilation of 'short extracts' of previously released videos shown in full....ie use the title of that film clip to refer to its longer cousin within the channels index...thanks mate...PS and thankyou for your subscription. 😁😁

Thanks mate...the overall length of the road has a solid base, however, depending on the prevailing winds sand is blown onto the road in many many places thus care is advised when negotiating those areas...the depth of the desert sand varies from a couple of inches deep to areas of 6 to 12 inches or deeper...but overall is a pretty good run...🌞

Would it be possible to get some footage of a wreck nearby in Mutton Cove? there are 2 located there, one is the SS Excelsior which sits in the tidal creek next to the road, and is accessible by foot. the other is the P.S.Jupiter, which used to ply the Murray river back in the day, and wound up at Pt Adelaide when its useful life was over. it was used for a time as a floating holding tank for Crayfish and Crabs, till it was also abandoned in the same tidal creek at Mutton Cove. unfortunately it cant be accessed by foot and would love to be able to see it, and a drone is probably the only way to get footage of it.

Some great video there. You were pretty close to those tree-tops. But tell me, why 720p? I see other videos of yours are posted at that resolution, too - which is okay for viewing on a mobile phone screen. I'm watching on a 27" monitor. It doesn't look too bad, considering - but I think extra pixels are always an advantage with scenery. I'm guessing you capture the video at a higher resolution? UA-cam are stingy with their bit-rates, so the bit-rate to pixel ratio also makes a big difference on playback. I record and post drone video to UA-cam in 4K and advise viewers to view the 4K version if they have the bandwidth, even if they aren't watching on a 4K screen. There's reduced compression and the images are much less smudgy. Even up-scaling 1080p source video to 4K before posting to UA-cam will get you better looking video if you watch the 4K version.
